Reports: Tom Brady in car accident this morning Just said on Mike and Mike in the morning. said purely in passing. have no idea how serious it is. Not sure how recent this is, Schefter hasn't even tweeted it yet. as a link appears I will post it. not the most likely of sources, but I found something... http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/09/report_brady_in.html now that i found a source, it doesnt sound particularly serious....
some reports say he went to hospital. others say he refused medical attention. jaws of life where used so.....
why would the police allow anyone who had to be taken out by the "jaws of life" to not go to the hospital to be checked out?? was he drinking and just went straight to HIS doctors at the patriots training facility???
http://www.necn.com/09/09/10/Report...206&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter UPDATE: NECN has confirmed that Brady was not taken to Brigham and Women's hospital, as some reports have indicated. (NECN) - Radio station WEEI is reporting that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was involved in a car accident in Boston. It happened at 6:34 am this morning. Boston police confirm that an accident happened at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester street. The crash involved a van and a sedan, and a man was trapped in the van in a rear seat. The man was placed on a backboard and transported to a local hospital. WEEI's Dennis & Callahan Show is reporting that Brady was "shaken" but refused transport to the hospital. They also report that the jaws of life were used at the accident, but were not used on Brady. WEEI reports that Brady was talking around after the accident, and is on his way to Foxboro.
Sometimes even in a relatively tame accident, the car doors won't open. It doesn't take too much to pin them shut.
That's one of the cross streets where cars sometimes try to punch it and sneak through across traffic quickly. Couldn't have been going very fast.
News is saying the van ran through the red light. Also said something about Brady talking on the phone or texting. The passenger in the van took the brunt of it.
Of course they'd say the van ran the red light even if it was Brady they'd never report it that way ...
