The defense would have been great without Revis but the offense does need to step up for them to be superbowl contenders.
Clearly this could be an all time dominant defense. Hopefully they can play up to their potential. If the offense matures and puts up an average of 20 points a game they may go undefeated.
its also been a subpar preseason. despite the insignificance of the preseason, there is no doubt that can mentally effect the players. Now they can say- That was without revis, but fuck that- 24 is back...whats for dinner? im in the mood for raven stew with a hint of flacco
The defense is in great shape. If Sanchez can cut his interceptions down by 30-50%, we will be a problem for every team in the NFL.
fit yes, playing up to Revis christ level? I doubt it. It will take revis a few weeks to flip the switch and go into God mode. He will still be a stellar cb, but not quite as awesome as he was last year.
This is a boost for the team as a whole not just the defense, and with the way the team has performed in the pre-season, it couldn't have come at a better time! BRING ON THE RAVENS!
He's fit and you know it. I reckon he's about at 8 or at 9. Maybe even 9 and a half in four days' time.
Jets need that 4th CB & Jackson seems like the best of the bunch. Lowery is toast or maybe better off as Safety in Dime packages. Cole, Coleman....and even Lowery sucks. Reality....Better pass-rush makes these DB's look alot better... except Jets don't have that elite blitzer ???
