If he wants to make it there... he's a vet, he can choose his destiny.

I think if Tanny & Rex guarantee him a spot for the other 15 games he'll be here... this will prob be his final year.

They won't guarantee him a spot the other 15 games, if they could do that they wouldnt have cut him to being with.

Jets claimed Cody Brown, who was a second round pick last year out of UCONN.

Wow - we actually get someone from the Cards rather than just dumping our shit out there.

I'm not going to lie, I would love to see t-rich come back to NY to coach when he is done.

As sad as it is to see him go, the staff must have felt conner was going to start, and you can't lead from the bench. I am firmly in the bring him back after week 1 camp, unless somehow the Jets can find a way to use his salary to bring in Revis, in which you take the lesser of 2 evils. Playing with Revis is worth more than playing with T-Rich

    Some depth with Pace out.

IMO, Brown was "overdrafted" in Rd 2.

assuming he is coming in for ST, any chance this spells the end of Laury? or was he the guy we cut T-rich for?

For those pining about Washington, how about we put in a claim for Blount? He looked good in preseason I thought, and he compliments our 1-2 punch very well. Although, I bet he goes to the Titans PS.

I think he's coming over for ST only... we put in a claim for ILB Shaw who is a ST ace but the Titans got him... I'm guessing They'll give this kid a chance on ST and if he shows nothing Laury is back in WK 2 with T-Rich and Coles.

Nice, I don't want to be a UConn homer but I really like that move.

    Someone caught it :).

I honestly think he's a good back though, I'd like to have him here over Woodhead. I'm pretty surprised he got cut, considering the Titans cut Gado too.

How about we pick up M. Leinart and he can back up his former back-up. Keep that whole USC thing going.

I am going to have to disagree.. Brunell might be lesser the QB than Garcia, but Garcia is a huge prick on and off the field, while Brunell has his head on straight....
