That's good because he's clearly better than Jones.

In those 5 games he had 17 picks and 3 td's. The rest of the season he had 3 picks to 9 td's. When the qb plays that poorly it's tough to win any game.

Coaching cost us the Buffalo game...

We were running the ball at will.. There was no need to EVER throw a pass in that game, with the lead, in those conditions...

IMO, the coaching staff was testing Sanchez.... I have no other explanation.. I went to school in Buffalo and watched that game with a bunch of Bills fans who were in complete Shock every time the Jets tried to pass.

Buffalo at that point was shooting themselves in the foot to lose games - the jets never even allowed Buffalo to grasp the Loss as they do... We snatched defeat from the hands of Vicotry.

It's funny I'm liking him less and less. He followed the Dolphins for years as a beat writer. He's originally a Cleveland Browns fan so he's been pretty neutral about the AFCE. But since your playoff run he's been a huge Jets cheerleader. You guys hooked him real good in the playoffs. Since then it seems the Jets can do no wrong in his eyes. I feel he dismisses the Dolphins and the Patriots too much in the division now and they are both good teams. You might want to consider him a homer this season.

If the D allowed that TD in the first half instead of the final minutes I can't imagine a single person not pinning that loss on missed/mishandled FGs.

    What's a Dolphin?

Oh yeah, they have at sea world and you can swim with them and pet them right? I did hear that Dolphins rape other men and sometimes women(but mostly men) at these Dolphin adventures so be careful around them. I'd hate to see a Dolphin rape a man, even if your a Dolphin lover.

Some agree as we do that the league has figured Henne out, and god help em to try and figure Mark out. He's too sneaky to show anything in preseason, smart man that QB of ours.

wow ... I won't disagree with the ranking simply because Henne hasn't proven anything yet, but I think it's not fair to say that he was "figured out" the second half of the season.

He had 3 300 yard games in the last 5 games with no true number 1 receiver and as Ricky wore down the stretch of the last 4 games.

I am tempering my enthusiasm for Henne but I still have high hopes for him. He has certainly flashed more potential than John Beck did at this point. This season will go a long way in deciding alot of things obviously.

They are both going to be good qb's. Henne has all the tools you need and just needs more experience. The media is so clueless.

Yeah I was just trying to get a rise, didn't work. Lol

I'm very curious to see how this rivalry pans out over the next 10 years. As I think we agreed on a few weeks ago it'll just be great to watch the Pats fade away into obscurity along with their "fanbase".

Clayton's articles get worse by the day. How can you take this list seriously when he has 14 elite QBs?

And Bradford 85%? Based on what?

Just another lazy list, much like the 2007 re-draft that Easterbrook did a few weeks ago.

Ha, first you think Jones' departure is a big deal, now you want us to think Sanchez won't do well.

    That's funny.

I think were mediocre. If Sanchez approximates anything to a Matt Schaub/Matt Ryan type then we'll be good. 9-7 prediction for me this year. Will be happy with that.

But they did allow it on the last drive and that was the 3rd time last year that they allowed a game losing drive on the final drive. Big time Defenses do not do that.

I'm w/ you in that I don't think he has been figured out but not those yardage totals are very misleading. he played terrible in 2 of those 3 games which helped to cost Miami a playoff spot.

I hope I am wrong but henne looks like he can be a solid starter in this league.

I think this is a very fair analysis of Henne.

And I wouldn't be surprised to see Henne have a better season than Sanchez this year, though I think that Sanchez will ultimately be a better player.

I said that you guys sound like you are confident he will have a Brees type season and I don't think this will be the case. He will still make a lot of mistakes like alot of young QBs make out there possibly cost you a game or two in the process.

As far as the Jones comment, god forbid something happens to Greene, you'll be seeing things my way by week 8.

Yeah because LT looks shot, and we have no other options. Even in LT's early days 1 back carried the load. I love how every is assuming that Shonn is injured already.

Focus on your QB that loses big games, and will have to reinvent himself already because the league is on to him. Also your shaky young defense and the inevitable injury Ronnie Brown will suffer by week 8.

Hey i'm sorry, but the last time i checked I didn't type "I'm confident about Henne." Ronnie goes down by week 8, make that more like week 6 but we still have Ricky. Granted, he will probably fade late(Like LT) but we have 2 young running backs who have proven they can make plays in this league as well so I'm not worried about our backs.
