Interesting that the Jets let Murrell and Douglas leave and they were both repped by the same dbags. Will be interesting if at some point it comes to light that the Jets are not signing players that are represented by these two losers.

Part of me thinks they like to cause problems and hold players out to get their name in the media. Revis had the perfect brand for NY before these guys made him hold out. I think a lot of fans will never view him in the same light again.

Keep in mind that these guys rep Vincent Jackson as well.

I agree to an extent, but this isn't always true. When a player has any sort of injury that requires him to be sidelined for a few weeks in the middle of the season, they can usually come back and play in a game a few days after being cleared to play. Revis will need maybe a week of practice to get back in "football shape"

There is a lot of truth in that. They don't have a lot of clients so every one of them that they can a mega deal for will increase their portfolio when others see it. What I wonder however is how many of their clients are out of football altogether and before they might have been because of some of the stunts they have pulled.

I think it's pathetic that they say guarantees weren't kept. They're lawyers/agents, if it's not on a signed piece of paper, it's meaningless. Then again, they seem to have no issue in "advising" revis to do the same thing, when an actual contract is involved.

Maybe Kellen Clemens should hold out for 16 mil, since he's the only QB on the roster that can execute the playbook, besides Sanchez.

What could you possibly do besides trade him? Give him a contract that will render the team unable to sign the rest of their core players? One guy doesn't make the team. Get rid of this guy and his shitty attitude and get some team players who want to win a championship. It hurts to say this, I own two Revis jersey's, have been a fan of his since day 1, even before he had the big season last year. However, what he is doing is shitty and his demands are not practical.

We wait and see if the Jets can sign him to a reasonable deal. If they can't, you wait and see if there is a chance he will report anyway (I know this is a very small chance). If both these fail, you keep him out of football for 2010 and then trade him.

Team Revis is bluffing to squeeze more $ out of the Jets. He's not sitting out 2 seasons in his prime.

He'll be on the field week 1.

Yeah but what form will he be in. He's going to need a month to blow off the rust. He should get an extra 25% pay cut for that
