I become more convinced that we are going to lose him when he becomes an UFA after this year unless we sign him this season.

Karlos Dansby - 5yr $43 million w/$22 million guaranteed ($16 million signing bonus)
Patrick Willis - 7yr $54 million w/$29 million guaranteed ($15.5 million signing bonus)

If he has an all-pro year, I'd give him the Willis deal in a heartbeat.

Yeah that's peanuts compared to the Revis deal.

I'd rather sign Mangold, Harris, Edwards,Holmes, and trade Revis for a shit ton of picks and a quality CB.

    Finally someone said it.
Toss Cromartie in there as well --- but maybe not Edwards.
I'm getting closer to being on board w/trading for draft picks.

That's why we need to lock him up now before he has a break-out season, so he don't go "all-Mevis" on us.

I don't think he will he's more of a man than a punk but, he will come cheaper now.

    Keep Cromartie as well.

I'd be all for a trade at this point, but Revis is will not be traded. No team would give him the contract he wants, and if makes his demands more reasonable, we would just sign him ourselves.

Harris would not do that, he's a true team player. He's in his last year of his contract and not 1 complaint from him.

Harris is a guy that you really want ony our team. Keeps his head down and does his job everyday. Harris could have pulled this Revis card but he wouldn't do it. I hope we eventually lock him up and give him what he deserves.

i think he is a different type of guy though. i mean we thought that with revis, but i really think Harris would take a contract that would keep him a Jet.
