well you know what they say ...

"if you can't beat em, flip em off"

    i'm paraphrasing of course

haha, I am surprised he gave us those props and the respect he gave us. Our teams are very similar, I might put our O a little ahead of yours but your D is obviously quite a bit ahead of ours.

    our O is better also.

    the #1 rush offense.

and while you got b.marshall, the rest of your recievers are not that good, bess is ok.

meanwhile, our wr core is pretty good, teams would kill to have the 4 wr's we have.

our qb is better also, the upside between henne and sanchez is not even close.

yeah, we were the #1 rush offense until ronnie got hurt. You got the big names at receiver, we got the nobodies.

I don't think our wrs are as bad as you think, because they are a stable full of complimentary guys with no true number 1. Marshall provides that number 1 role and hopefully guys like Bess (had 76 catches last year) and Hartline (nearly 17 ypc) and Camarillo (50 catches) can open up things for everyone else.

Santonio is a big play guy and scares me much more than Edwards' iffy-hands. Cotchery is a great one too and doesn't get the respect he deserves imo

I also think our qb is better.

we had the #1 rushing O before r.brown got hurt.

but in all honesty, our rushing offense's are probaly 1A, and 1B.

But have you guys really done anything to improve the run game? Is LT really an improvement over Jones, and McKnight over Washington, and Ducasse over Faneca?

Miami improved their run game significantly in the off season. We'll see though.

Pardon my ignorance but what has Miami done to improve their run game significantly? If you consider improving your run game being getting a RB, back from an injury, that is not improving your run game.

To your questions Yes, Yes & Yes...

Anyone who watched Jones run knows he can through a gaping hold only to fall down upon first contact (and there will be proof positive of that this season). Also for the 100th time LT is not replacing Jones. Greene is replacing Jones.

McKnight is the same type of player as Washington. Washington is going to play with a medal rod in his leg this season. For a guy who's game is predicated on cuts and speed, I'll pass.

Ducasse has all the physical tools needed and is just a physical beast...At this point in Faneca's career he had to go..But Ducasse likely isn't going to be replacing Faneca. Mat Slausen is who has been looking pretty impressive in camp.

Miami added an All Pro WR (which will open it up completely compared to last season) and beefed up their O-line with Incognito and Jerry.

I disagree. Ducasse played 10 minutes from where I live. I doubt he's up for the challenge to be honest with you...at least not yet. He'll need time.

McKnight is also very unproven. Regardless of how well Washington will play this season, he's not an improvement over what Washington gave you the last few years.

Also, IMO, LT is completely worn out. People want to make excuses but from watching him play he just doesn't have it; doesn't have the burst, the explosion, the stamina...That's the one move I don't understand why you made.

over the last few years, washington has primarily given us great kick returning and pass catching out of the backfield ... we have an abundance of capable kick returners, mcknight included, to aproximate that loss. the LT move was made because he is outstanding at blitz pickup and is STILL a dangerous receiver out of the backfield

and can you read? shonn greene is the feature back ... SHONN GREENE

    do you comprehend now?

I know he is. But can he handle 25 carries a game? He needs to prove that. And if he cannot, the Jets are in trouble because that means LT becomes the featured back.

My point is if you're counting on Tomlinson for anything more than occasional 3rd down duties, that's a problem.

By the way, Incognito has started every game in his NFL career, WhiteShoeWillie. He may be nasty and have a bad image, but the dude can play and can certainly maul people out of the way in the run game.

It's obvious he's an outstanding offensive lineman. Why else would he be released by two teams with the worst o-lines in the league last year? I mean, either that or he rapes team mates in the shower.

He was released by one and did not resign with Buffalo. He was cut by St. Louis because he got into a fight with his Head Coach after consecutive 15 yard unnecessary roughness penalties.

Why wouldn't Buffalo re-sign him? Their line is bad.

Fins fans shit on the Bills o-line all the time, but now they let one of their starters go, the fins pick him up and OHH LOOKIE HERE - big upgrade to the Fins o-line.

can ronnie brown stay healthy for a seaon? can ricky williams keep going at 33? every team has questions, and if washington was here you would be saying, "you guys should have picked up a back in the draft, you have no idea if he'll be healthy"

it will always be something, but it doesnt change the fact that shonn greene is a beast

all these question yet, after this season, greene will probably have topped ronnie browns best year ever

You had said you bolstered your running game...You then cited a WR...I understand that having a potent passing attack can open up your running game but that is not what you were referring to...So I ask again how did you bolster your running game this off-season?

If you are going to refer to Incognito as a way to say you bolstered your running game you fall in line with the rest of dolphin fans..COMPLETELY DELUSIONAL.

McKnight is unproven? You mean a rookie is unproven? Wow this is breaking news...

I never said Ducasse didn't need time...I was saying that we are not going to rely on Ducasse because Slaus is stepping up...

Having LT is the backfield brings a level of leadership, and provides the wrinkle of passing to a back which we simply haven't had...LT is not completely worn out...Is he the LT that he was a few years ago? Of course not, but if TJ could run for 1,600 yards behind this line LT can do damage as well, which is the point you are missing.

So he was released by St. Louis because he has a massive temper and tried to show up his coach...

He then goes to stinkin Buffalo and can't even stick there..

You are in for a seriously rude awakening with this guy...he was once good but he's lost his way..sorry.
