I voted for Harris since there is too much chance Revis will not play.

    went with Harris.....

Another guy who's in line for a contract.....but is going about it the right way....by keeping his mouth shut and taking care of business on the field. I hope he has a monster year for us and earns that big payday next offseason.

Remember when our secondary got torched by Manning. This comes to an end with Cromartie.

I'm going with Cromartie as well, with Revis blanketing the #1 WR, Cro is going to get plenty of opportunities to get turnovers, he's going to be one hell of a game changer

Surprised that Bart Scott got no loving.

Eitherway I expect it to be Cromartie. This year Revis is going to be like Asomugah where offenses just avoid throwing the ball his way. That means all the actions going right @ Cromartie. He should have more than enough opportunity to get double digit ints this year, and when we are the best defense in the nfl again this year, Itll be because Cromartie stepped up big time

I'm torn on this one, because Revis was targeted so much last year and now QB's know not to bother. Cro will be getting a lot of action and if he truly is back to form then he could have a good amount of INT's.

I know it would be for the fact that Revis is so good, but that doesn't show up in the stats. I'll just go with the secondary.

Imagine if Gholston actually has a breakout year? With him, Harris, Scott, Pace, and Taylor all being able to get some pressure this defense really could be terrifying for all opponents.

Bart Scott playing the Ted LB spot will always be underappreciated, because his job is not to rack up stats. It's to free up guys like Harris and Leonhard and Eric Smith to go after the QB.

He was giving props to Pouha and Jenks at TC. Saying that one or both of them command double teams and his job of picking up the FB was already done, and hes like " What am I meant to do...?"

i guess I'm the only one who thinks Bart Scott will be our defensive MVP this year..

I'm also shocked nobody else feels that way.

Its like Byz says, Scott's work goes largely unnoticed as his job is to tie up blockers and make holes. Not only that his leadership and mouth are excellent.

It may go unnoticed but he is a crucial piece to this defense and I do feel the most front line superstar isn't necessarily the MVP.

Definitely. Other side of the ball , Mangold , well actually take your pick along the line.

This would mean Revis is more important.

This is why I hate stats...

I wouldn't agree with Mangold...If we are going with an offensive lineman it's got to be Brick.

Revis. It seems like holdout players get injured often when they come back, though.

I picked calvin pace is going to see a lot of easy matchups and he got to the QB quite a bit alot last year, but with this defense everyone is going to do very good, The Jets D is going to be unstoppable this year

Okay, maybe we need to clear something up here. Are you talking about the Team MVP award that the players vote on for their own teammate? Because I'm not sure I see Bart Scott winning that.
