Gave me goosebumps hearing all the family and friends chanting JETS when he got off the phone.... Kyle has a very good chance to become my favorite Jet. He has the skills ethic and swagger to make it in this league. Great job by Vince and the KDub crew.

    Great video.
Its very very early, but there's a part of me that thinks that if Cromartie & Wilson play really well in 2010, it makes it easier to let Revis go. Don't get me wrong - Revis is so good its scary. Nothing more I want than to see DR play out his career in Jet green, but its hard in this league to keep so many other great players on a team when you pay a guy $15/$17 million per year. Maybe if the CBA falls through & this thing turns into baseball. But we've seen it happen before when a big big big star has to go elsewhere to get the big $$.

I could see Tanny letting Revis go (and by letting him go I mean getting 3 first round picks and or players for him)

But I can promise you there is no way in hell Rex Ryan lets Revis go.

He literally is the 1 player that Rex can (and will) build our entire defense around.

If this shit turns into baseball I will be so mad. The best thing about the NFL is the competitiveness and the chance that any team can win. The reason why the NFL is the most popular sport in America is because of this. Baseball has no salary cap and teams with the bigger markets, AKA Yankees, Sox, Dodgers, Mets, can buy whoever they want and what ever they want. I am a die hard Jet fan and having no cap would benefit the Jets tremendously (as we are like what 7th richest franchise on forbes or something?) but for the good of the nfl the cap needs to stay intact

Great video. We were very lucky this draft; I think it's likely that even if Jets had, let's say the 10th pick instead of the 29th, Wilson and Ducasse would have been the picks in the two first rounds.

the only scenario I can see Rex accepting is trading revis to Dallas for Demarcus Ware and 2 firsts, and since Dallas isn't likely to give that up, me thinks the deal will eventually get worked out with revis.

Technically, a defender cannot tackle a WR, even within the 5 yarss. All they can do is jam them and hopefully knock them off their route. If the defender happens to knock over the WR while he is jamming him, that is perfectly legal.

If a CB tried to tackle a WR, he would get called for defensive holding.

You could be right, although with the 10th pick in the 1st and 2nd we could have taken Earl Thomas and Sergio Kindle. Either way, I couldn't be much happier with our draft.

Well, I was ready for some football before that Video, damn I am pumped now. Can't wait to see if all the peices come together as expected. It will be just like Steve Young said in this video, "This is going to be scary". Championships are won with great defense, this Jets squad is shaping up as just that, Fellow suffer's we could be very close, very close, if not this year, then next...Can't believe the NFL is not going to get it all worked out and prevent any kind of work stopage or strike.

Thank you Vince and your family for the Vid , and from our family to your family

    WELCOME,,,,,,,,,yeah boy !!!!!!!

major props to surviveone for the team kdub site.

spent time reading the blogs, and listening to his interview on the fan after he was drafted. Also I love the sneakyness of the Jets logo hidden in Kyles eye on the banner of the page at the top, took me a long time to notice it.

The site is well designed, and I imagine will be very well maintained. Going to become a favorite place of mine to visit post-game in the future!
