I think Houston will cause he has matured a lot. I like him a lot i would love to see him get 600 plus yards this season and to see Washington get some decent yards this season. what do you guys think.

I agree with you. I like his running style and hope fully with a healthy o-line he will be a big asset to the Jets

I have to go with my man, Houston. I saw nothing but positives in his play last season, and he can definitely do some damage now that he is 100% recovered from his thyroid condition.

didn't you create the same thread yesterday?

I really like what C Houston did last year especially considering the circumstances. Hopefully he shows us more this year and proves a viable option to follow Martin.

I'm inclined to say Houston at this point. Blaylock is unproven and Leon Washington will likely end up being a 3rd down back for most of his career.

if we had the same O-coordinator as last year i'd say Houston, but I think Washington will get the most carries when its all said and done.

I think that it will be about 50/30/20

    50% Curtis Martin
    30% Cedric Houston
    20% Leon Washington

Blaylock will get some carries in mop-up duty, but i dont feel like giving him a percentage because i dont think he will have that many carries... probably more a special teams specialist for the Jets

i think it will be around 50/40/10

    50% Curtis Martin
    40% Cedric Houston
    10% Leon Washington

I think it will either be like mine or like yours doesnt matter. They are pretty much the same.

    :drunk:
    Derrick Blaylock Career stats:
    Team Games ATT Yards Average
    2002 Kansas City Chiefs 12 0 16 72 4.5
    2003 Kansas City Chiefs 16 0 22 112 5.1
    2004 Kansas City Chiefs 12 5 118 539 4.6
    2005 New York Jets 7 1 17 53 3.1

Also, Blaylock has 10 career touchdowns. Compare that to Houston's 1 season of 300 yards. Which one is unproven now?

Blaylock was brought in to be a secondary back to Curtis Martin. That's what he's gonna do.

I've got my money on Houston. I believe Blaylock will be one of those final cuts in August / early September.

Houston showed promise last year in his 4 starts and Washington will be the #3 who will get a couple of carries per game.
