I really don't want to post this but I see this coming up as a story. Apparently the Eagles are going to release him. I just have a hunch, they same hunch I had that Holmes would go to the Jets, that Michael Vick is going to end up here. We already looked at Jamarcus Russell and if Michael Vick is released I feel the Jets are going to look at him. Let the flaming on me begin....

One thing I don't get is... if the police proves Vick has no fault then why release him?! I mean, if he hasn't done anything what can he be accused of?

From what I read the guy wasn't invited and he showed up... that said I hate all this Vick bashing. The guy was a model citizen except for the dog fighting... sure, it's a BIG thing, but it's ONE THING. He isn't a thug like many are making him out to be...

Thank you. Vick is a total scumbag, plain and simple. Put it this way: if he had nothing at all to do with the shooting, and had no idea that Phillips was at his party, then why did he lie to police about when he left? For a guy on probation, who's entire career rests on staying out of trouble, that shows terrible judgment. This is not the kind of guy you want on your team.

I agree, he most likely had nothing to do with the shooting and he wasn't there when it took place. He used terrible judgment when lying to police. If he had just told the truth then he wouldn't be in the mess right now. I wouldn't be surprised at all of the commissioner bans him for the year or possibly for life.
