Do you guys think this is going to be Martins last year?

Ideally he comes back in 2007 in a Jerome Bettis role and gets a ring.

 

We weren't 15-1 the year before though, bro. So the odds sure are against him.

 

I HOPE Curtis can play another year...or 2...........but I'm afraid this will be last year with our beloved JETS

 

I agree Curtis will probably rush for 800-1000 yards and will hopefully tutor the rb we take next year in the draft, for one year then leave after that.

 

I voted that 2006 would be his last year, but I think you've hit on the more likely possibility - it will be his last year as a Jet, and if he decides to keep hanging on, he'll find a spot somewhere else, a la Emmitt Smith. Personally, I would hope he doesn't do that, but it's ultimately his choice.

 

Martin's a competitor. hard worker and team player. I'm sure that he will be back from the injury better than ever.With a good offensive line this year and next he can surprise alot of people. Better not write him off yet......

 

I think this will be CMs last year in a Jet uniform....I think Tanngini are thinking long term and CM unfortunately cannot be a part of that plan.

 

Jet fans have the shortest memories......Martin will be back this year and all you nay sayers will be eating some crow........the same crow will be eaten when Pennington gets back to winning form....
