Wilson getting drilled in the helmet by a Clemens pass after he fell down just proves that Clemens is not a quality NFL qb. Any other would've actually completed the pass for a long TD. Seriously, how the hell does he hit the guy in the head after he fell down? That just means his pass was woefully off target (big surprise).

 

Money. That's the motivation. Not pride in one's work. Not a title. Not the team. Money.

I'm utterly disgusted with all athletes right now. Someone needs to bring them back down to Earth. I'm starting to hope the next CBA completely ass-rapes the players.

 

Maybe I'm a bit more optimistic than some but I think these guys do a bad job of getting their point across. Money is their motivation for all of this offseason stuff that they have to do to be ready for the season. As Ray Lewis said "You pay for Monday through Saturday, Sunday you get for free." I don't know about everyone else but I hated practice since I was 8 years old going to hockey practice 4 nights a week. I did it to play games every weekend.

 

I never thought about it. I played football, lacrosse and I was on the number 1 swim team in NJ.

After reading your post, I couldn't agree more.
