That's a pretty famous song, and comes from the time that she had an amazing voice, before she screwed up her life so badly.

Niese looking remarkably good through 4.

    lol

Wright faces a soft tossing lefty and he turns into the best hitter on the planet.

Too bad he faces a hard throwing righty more often than not, and bats about .200 against them.

Bad decision by the third base coach probably costs the Mets a run.

Yeah I think he should've sent Wright...but Uggla had a good shot of throwing him out.

Frenchy ties it up with a 3-run dinger!

Freddy Gonzalez inexplicably plays his infield back and Ike's hard-hit DP brings in the go ahead run.

The only way this makes sense is if he's sure K-Rod will blow the save, which is actually not that unlikely.

Rodriguez once again making it too interesting - the wind might have saved the two-run HR there. Bay might have had a shot at Cantu tagging up and going to second, but he was obviously surprised by it.

Mets complete the sweep. Playing at home sure is fun.

The mets haven't swept the Marlins since 2000 apparently.

i love the way this team plays at home, gives me hope that they can make a run for a postseason berth, they just gotta play .500 on the road and that starts with beating a shit-tastic Orioles team. with that said Fredi Gonzalez has to be one of the shittiest managers in baseball, he makes Jerry Manuel look like Connie Mack. he made three absolute inexcusable decisions today

    1. taking Nolasco out of the game after he had thrown just 82 pitches, the Mets were doing absolutely nothing against him, nothing.

    2. Leaving the reliever Wood in for an additional inning after he had served up the two-run hit to Pagan. the dude had nothing but his fingers on the ball, and that showed once Frenchy hit the 3 run shot.

    3. playing the infield back with Davis at the plate, what exactly was the reasoning behind that?

sometimes i really do believe that i can do a better job at managing a ball-club than some of these guys.

To be honest, Three games back is WAY closer than I thought they would be in the first couple weeks of the season.
