So every year about half of the league is 8-8 or under... who will it be in 2010?

I always fall in love with teams after FA and the draft because it seems ilke everyone brought in good prospects and filled their holes but many times that's far from true... so let me try and give it a shot....:

    8-8 teams:
    - Steelers
    - Panthers
    - Eagles
    - Cardinals

    under .500:
    - Rams
    - Chiefs
    - Bills
    - Seahawks
    - Buccaneers
    - Browns
    - Lions
    - Redskins
    - Raiders
    - Broncos
    - Bears
    - Jaguars

i say steelers fall below .500. your other .500 teams i agree can be from 7-9 to 9-7...

for your under .500 a lot of those teams got better this offseason. lions are building something nice over there but are still a couple years out. bears got a lot better this offseason and i expect them to compete. redskins can make a run at the division i think, seahawks are still a couple years out

jags, raiders, bucs, bills, rams, and chiefs are still a mess lol

I really think the Raiders might go 8-8.

All they really have to do is split with Denver and San Diego and beat the rest of the shitty teams on their schedule like Kansas City (x2), St. Louis, and Seattle.

They play a lot of winnable games against teams like Miami, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Jacksonville, and Tennessee.

I wouldn't be suprised if Oakland improved greatly.

The skins have McNabb, Shanahan, and a good defense. They'll go 8-8 or better.

The Eagles might win 6-8 games. I see the Cardinals falling apart completely this year with Boldin, Dansby, and Warner gone.

No way Cardinals are 8-8 this year. And the Skins with their new additions will steal one of the NFC Wildcard spots so they will be over .500.

Which is good for us since the Patriots get their 1st Round Pick.

It's very hard to have a division without one team at or under 500. So first we pick the bottom feeders.

    AFC:
    Bills, Browns, Jaguars, Raiders
    NFC:
    Eagles, Lions, Bucs, Rams

There's 8. Then factor in the divisions where one or two teams dominate.
    AFC:
    Chiefs, Broncos
    NFC:
    Panthers, Bears, Seahawks, Cardinals

and there are the fringe teams... ones that are falling or getting better (The around 8-8ers)

    AFC:
    Titans, Steelers

    NFC:
    Redskins, Cardinals

AFC looks better from my chart.

I dont know if you can say the Titans are a fringe team.

They generally are one of the better teams in the nfl. Hell last year (before their abysmal start) many people had them as a top 2 or top 3 team in the afc and a superbowl contender. They finished the year pretty hot, and I think now that theyre set with a good qb, and the most dangerous offensive player in the nfl theres no way these guys dont become dominant again.

    That made me LOL.

Mike comes home, gets drunk and posts on TGG.com and this is what you end up with; "Add jets to the lost of under .500"

if these guys are so clueless, then give us your list to show them how wrong they are?

Or are you just pissed because nobody here thinks the bills are even a .500 team?

Alot of those teams have legitimate reasons for them to be listed.

Eagles, untested QB in Kolb, big question mark.
Steelers, no QB for six weeks, big problem
Panthers, probably starting a rookie at QB, no more Peppers on D, Best LB coming back from major injury.

What else? You give your list.

Oh and Cardinals? No more Warner, Leinart has been subpar when he has started, no more Boldin, lost Dansby, changes in secondary.

LOL... Bold statement from someone who can't even spell their user handle correctly. It should be BuffaloPsycho.... "Physco" isn't a word.

And it seems silly of you to point out our homerism... I seem to remember a post you made last week on the "Predict how each team does in the 2010 Seaon" where you included the following list:

    AFC East
    Pats 12-4
    Bills 10-6
    Jets 7-9
    Dolphins 4-12
    AFC North
    Ravens 10-6
    Steelers 8-8
    Bengals 8-8
    Browns 4-12

The Phins are way better than 4-12, as much as I hate them... and the bills would need Trent "Concussion" Edwards to be the second coming of Peyton Manning in order to go 10-6... and even that would be a stretch... Your list is the definition of homerism, as you put your 5-11 Bills up to 10-6 just so they don't have to finish last... again... Tell me oh great "Physco" what did the bills do this offseason to make themselves a wildcard contender?
