I knew the Bills line was in bad shape but I didn't know the specifics, If I was a Bills fan I would be so pissed. What the fuck is the front office thinking :buffaloblows::buffaloblows::buffaloblows:
Holy Hell. Maybe that's why they didn't draft a QB until the 7th round. No use in putting any early money into a position that is guaranteed to get killed.
wheres the buffalo physco who claimed the line will not only be much improved, but allow spiller to go crazy and put up numbers better than Chris Johnson did last year... LMAO good money is on Fred Jackson taking the majority of the carries this year behind this OL, no need to let their new prize get murdered for a horrid lost cause of a season...
Um, thats not our swtarting O-line LMAO. Thats the line for the voluntary rookie minicamps. Also don't know if you guys have heard or not but we may have a deal in place with Baltimore right now in where we are sending ou 2011 second round pick for LT Gaither. Here is what our starting 2010 O-line will look like, not as bad as many people think. Gaither, Levitre, Hangartner, Wood, Bell. One elite player, 2 solid guards who were rookies last year and played great in Wood and Levitre and a work in project in Bell who has the physical makeup to be great (Karl Malone's son). Hangartner blows. Eventually i would like to see Eric Wood go back to his natural position of Center and then pick up a mid-round guard next year or a stop-gap vet.
I have a question, If Gaither is as elite as you say, why would the Ravens send him to buffalo for such a cheap price? Elite LT are worth huge value at the minimum a first round pick. some quick stats, in four years, he has started 25 games, and only played in 6 games last season. That doesnt scream elite LT to me... granted, Gaither certainly is an upgrade over anything Buffalo has, in both skill and experience but he certainly isnt about to turn them into a upper echelon OL. Oh and there is still the fact, the deal has to go through. We have all seen and heard of deals that fell through at the eleventh hour, this one could possibly fall through as well. Not saying I have inside info but any deal could fall through at any time.
When he has been out there, he has proven that is elite. He was dinged up with injuries last year. But you show me an O-lineman that isn't a little dinged up and I'll show you an O-lineman that doesn't start. Anyway his contract is up at the end of the season and there not going to pay him 8 million a year to play RT (Michael Oher is now their franchise LT) and with all the bigger contracts they'll have to extend soon with Flacco, Rice, and especially Ngata salary cap or not the Ravens are gonna have to dish out a lot of money. So there thinking should be they should trade him now or let him walk next season and get nothing in return. There have been questions about his work ethic when he gets a big contract. But at this point im willing to take a gamble. Bring this Giant to B-lo!
LOL @ Elite......... You're willing to take a gamble? You contradict yourself about 3-4 times in your post. Elite? please that is just nonsense. He is ok, I do not care how much another tackle is being paid, if a guy is elite he does not get moved and/or put on the trade block. The only thing elite is the Ravens player personnel department. Your post is ridiculous, the Ravens do not get rid of elite young players.
I don't buy what the Jills fan is telling us. Our defense, and NE and Miami's defenses for that matter, will be slaughtering that oline all year just like last year. Their personnel decisions on offense have been legit retarded the last couple of seasons.
