i dont think there is to much to worry about here we have a great locker room and most of the talk about us bringing in to many disruptive players to me is a load of bs...they said edwards was a concern and look how he turned out.
I just think the people talking about loss of chemistry are the players that left that wish they could still be here. Having a fun loving cool boss can make any job seem better.
The problem I have with this Jets Chemistry BS people spew is that most teams bring in attitude problems to be their marquee players, like the Fish bringing in Brandon Marshall or any team that ever signed TO. The Jets have all their key players in place, the guys they bring in now are simply here to try and win a title. Even if a guy like Jason Taylor was having issues, he's what, between the 6th and 8th best player on the defense? Santonio could have issues, but unlike how with Miami BM is their only top line WR, the Jets have three.

Unfortunately Kelly ive already created this thread just titled it differently and focused it on Izzo's locker room comments.
I still think every unit has a guy that is a well respected leader despite the losses of Washington, Jones & Faneca. I also think the CS thinks Faneca would have been a major head ache if he was relegated to a back up role (why else would they pay him and then cut him... becuase, they thought he was going to be BAD in the locker room). IMO... WR - Cotchery's the most tenured at the position and a hard worker who keeps his mouth shut... leadership QB - Sanchez. Now if he isn't yet a leader, then he certainly wasn't a leader last year and we didn't do to bad RB - I agree we lose a lot of leadership here with Jones leaving. I'm hoping LT (the one who keeps his pants on) picks up some of the leadership slack O-Line - Which one of these guys isn't a leader: Brick, Mangold, Woody & Moore? D-Line - ellis is the most tenured Jet & I have to assume Jenkins is a guy that only elevated other guys LB - Harris & Scott... 'nuff said Secondary - Leonard & Revis. Between a guy who knows Rex's system well and our savior, how can a young guy like Wilson not take notice and get better? You know what makes a team gel? Winning! If we win, we'll have a team of leaders who are playing team ball. If we start 0-10, there won't be a single leader in the locker room.
Probably Brick and Moore. Rex said in his presser that neither of them really says a lot. I would expect Woody and Mangold to be the outspoken leader types, although Mangold is still pretty young and he's a joker, so he might need to grow into that role.
The article actually seems fair to me and just points out that changing personnel can have unforeseen consequences - it even points out how the Patriots struggled. It's not hating the Jets, it's just talking about football. There isn't much else that can be done at this time of the off-season.
Exactly. Here's what not a single one of these "articles" ever addresses: the Jets last year made the AFC Championship game. With a rookie QB. And a rookie head coach. Everyone in the entire system was new to the system. Granted, many on defense had been playing a 3-4, and there was a small handful that came to us from Baltimore with Rex, but overall, the entire team was learning anew. This year we have a few new faces to teach. Overall, it's just an advancement of the system over last year. And all the advancement is on the shoulders of the new guys. You could argue that Holmes and LT will have a learning curve, but really, Braylon and Green were able to step in late. These guys have all summer to learn. The Jets are in a far better position right now than they were a year ago, which was the summer before they were one half of a football game from the Super Bowl.
