In bowl games AND against OSU, the 8 biggest games of his career and the lone win coming against an unmotivated UF team in some crappy non BCS bowl.

It's a little different in college since you get 1 crack at OSU and it usually means a BCS berth or a trip to a National Title Game. It's more like a div rd playoff game than a game against NYJ or NE.

camarillo and bess are beasts... unless admitting they suck works for the current argument. i think that's how this same debate has been going since october.

Why would we not count the finale? Had they had a chance to win wouldn't Henne have stayed in? So ya tack that loss on there.

Like UKK said, you guys claim your wr corps is underrated and are beasts until it works in your favor then you Phin fans flip the script. They either suck or they don't.

Ya, I don't think Tebow is ever unmotivated, lol. You are just discounting that game b/c it doesn't fit your arguement.

And winning the games in your division usually lead to winning the division and making the postseason as well... so it's not any different. If you are going to count rival games that usually put you in the postseason... then you have to count the Jets and Pats games this year... where he went 3-1.

Henne didn't play the 2nd half of the Steelers game b/c of an eye injury...

It was a major disappointment for UF not to be in a BCS bowl and Mich was very motivated to win for Carr and they still barely hung on.

NYJ/NE games are very different than OSU-Mich, that's more like a div rd playoff game. You went 3-1 against us and you didn't make the playoffs, had he beat Mich one of those times they would have played in a BCS bowl or for a National Title.

SO FAR he hasn't been a big game player, that could change- we'll see.

I'm not. Henne had to try to carry the team on his shoulders. His defense was garbage, his ol was swiss cheese, his star wr was Ted Ginn and his stud running back was injured again. Henne did really well with nothing to work with. Sanchez in my opinion had a much better situation around him and he really started flourish when he stopped trying to do it all himself and stopped trying to force things. When he managed the game and stopped trying to win it by himself. Henne didn't have that option.

As a Dolphins fan I like both QB's but I like what I've seen of Henne and I think he's a little better than Sanchez but both clubs very good young QB's they can be proud of right now. Long term I like the Dolphins or Jets situation more than the Patriots. They don't have anyone especially promising in the pipe when Brady goes out again.

Dolphins D wasn't awful dunno why fins always say that. You guys have a great Oline, average D, and average WR's, and now you have Marshall who is a top 5 WR.

Our pass coverage was awful. But that was partly due to starting two rookie CB's, and Gibril Wilson being garbage.

Our O-Line is pretty fantastic, don't know why dude above said that.

As far as Henne vs Sanchez? TBD.

Next year will be the barometer to judge. Henne now has an elite receiving target to go with his complimentary guys(IE Cam, Hartline, Bess), Sanchez has a year under his belt. Everything should be fair game next year.

Agreed. That sums everything up. I don't know why these two are being compared so hard when one had a whole year under his belt. He was better and he should be.

Now that things are on a equal foot., the comparisons should be more realistic.

Sorry junc, you aren't as unbiased here as you are in FH, and its obvious.

You are referring to college football games in terms of rivalry games after Henne went 3-1 versus the Jets/Pats in his first season starting in the NFL? Really? Really??

As for the Dolphins defense, it was DEFINITELY our weak point.

The entire center of our defense was soft - J. Ferguson was solid but he's old and is purely a run stuffer... Solai, our back up NT is average at best (do you guys even know who he is? Exactly).

Our LB's, from left to right, front to back, however you looked at them, MEDIOCRE. The only LB worth a damn was JT who was only a shell of his former self. Channing Crowder is average at best, and NEVER makes plays. Don't even get me started on the ghost of Joey Porter.

Our secondary consisted of 2 up and coming rookie CB's and 2 strong safeties. Our defensive coordinator, who was fired, left our rookie corners in single coverage often without safety help (not like either of our safeties can cover worth a damn, anyways).

The defensive scheme was mediocre last season, but the personnel, especially throughout the middle of the defense, was downright sad.

We didn't have the WORST defense in the league but we were ranked something like 20th overall - which I'd say was a very fair ranking.

Anyways, like the last poster mentioned, Henne vs Sanchez is just getting going but HEY, it's the off season, and we're all bored, so we can all swing our dicks around and speculate whos is bigger.

You are going to compare OSU games to NYJ and NE games in the NFL? Again, you went 3-1 against NYJ/NE and where did it get you? Not even to .500 but if he beat OSU once or twice it would have meant a BCS bowl/national Title Game- that is a HUGE difference.

Again, I'm not saying henne will never be a big game QB but so far he's been bad in big games.

Again, I'm not talking about 3 years ago, I'm talking about the NFL, the pro game.

I'm sorry junc but you look like a fool STILL talking about something from 3 and 4 years ago. Guess what? He is winning where it MATTERS.

You must obviously be concerned with Henne if you are talking about some useless stats that mean NOTHING to me as a Dolphin fan. I don't care about OSU but I do care about beating the Jets and the Pats.

I do care that Henne led a come from behind victory on Monday Night Football against the Jets.

And Henne was 7-5 as a starter last season, yea I'd say they were above .500 with him.

Yea, not to mention we had a bottom feeder defense and he still got us above .500 when he played.

Give it up, you are just grasping at straws at this point.

edit: to UKK, Bess and Camarillo are definitely "beasts"... if they are your #3/#4 receivers respectively. They aren't going to scare anyone otherwise. Our receiver corps was KNOWN as a group of slot receivers by EVERYONE last season. This year is a different story, no excuse for them now, but don't come and tell them they weren't a liability unless you want to admit your ignorance.

If he is winning where it matters how come he lost the 23 most important games of the season?(at ten, vs. Hou).

Until he actually wins big games in the NFL the knock on him will remain.

Yeah i'm concerned about henne, I didn't like him coming out of college but he showed me alot last year. I think he will be a good QB but until he can win games when it really counts I'll have my reservations about him.

It's great you were above .500 w/ him but how did he play when you had a chance to make the playoffs? You can blame the D all you want but the O led by henne was just as much of a culprit.
