I absolutely hope they do, and at this point I don't see how they can't. (Your avatar is like the sun, BTW... don't look directly at it... you'll go blind.)
That's a fair question and one I can't answer. Are we sure that they're the only team in the NFL that doesn't? I know how it works here guys, don't get me wrong. I understand I'm on a rivals' board. Saying the Patriots suck or whatever, hey, that's cool... but even after it became clear that this particular case was a misunderstanding, it still came down to "classless" and all that. Hate away, but hate for legit reasons is all I'm sayin! Cheers.
I grew up in that town. There's not a bunch of little rich kids running around. It's a cow town where nothing excirting ever happens. The kids were upset and feel let down.
All teams send players to the WINNER of the program. This school didn't win anything. They were just one of many schools that signed up for the fitness program!
They have every right to be upset and let down. But it is pretty clear they were let down by school officials who seem to have reading comprehension issues, and maybe the dairy council.
that's funny, they say "it was not the pat's fault, it was our fault!" just to make sure the pats actually DO come. if they said "ya F the pats!" or something similar then they still wouldn't get real personnel. by covering for the patriots, they will get them to bring players in... just my theory, anyways.
Wow you talked to all of 'em? No offense intended, if you took it that way. All I was saying is that this isn't like a United Way event or something.
I hate him for that too man. It's like watching a Celtics game from 1986 with all those pale, old white man legs...
If some poor kid who wanted to meet a cheating fukk Patriot was dying at Ronald McDonald House, they'd send him a Happy Meal instead.
http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patriots/extra_points/2010/05/patriots_do_rig.html?camp=localsearchn:twitats So we all remember the story last week when the Patriots were falsely blamed for leaving some middle schoolers on Connecticut in the lurch -- when school officials were expecting a player visit they were never promised for participating in the Fuel Up to Play 60 program, kids were disappointed...right? Well even though it wasn't their responsibility -- the New England Dairy & Food Council claimed blame -- the Pats made it up to the kids and staff at Lebanon Middle School in a major way on Wednesday: Bill Belichick and Dan Koppen traveled to visit the kids and brought Pat Patriot along for good measure. Here's a clip of the festivities...and kudos to the Patriots for going out of their way to correct a mixup they weren't responsible for causing.
Man. I'm all choked up. The . . .<sniff> . . . children. . . <sniff>. . are saved. <sniff> I'm going to need a little time here, boys. <sniff> Look away. <sniff>
