It would leave Wilson in the starting lineup, because Cromartie would be on another team with an obscene contract.

So we have to automatically presume that Cromartie will get back to his 2007 playing says without seeming him play one down. And Lowery blows but I am just saying.

when Cromartie has his beast year with 10 picks hes a free agent along with contracts needing to go to Harris,Revis,Mangold, and Brick soon.

all players I'd rather have on our roster than Cro, why?

because we have Kyle Wilson now to make up for his loss if we cant retain him after this year.

    just saying

But Rex likes food (CB) more than water (pass rusher)...pun intended.

I can understand where Slappy is coming from...he just has the philosophy of drafting more for need than for BPA...doesn't make him a troll.

That said, I would still take Wilson.

The troll wants to sit Sanchez for a year OR TWO. That too, after he has a year under his belt already. Yeah, maybe sit him and watch his confidence drown. This troll knows nothing and is a Dolphins fan!

So that makes his point about wanting a pass rusher over a nickel corner moot?

Jam.....this clown admittedly thinks Mark Brunell is a better option than Sanchez.....and you're taking his opinions seriously?

Its not like I agree with his opinions, MB, I just think everyone's opinions should be respected...unless you're a proven troll.

I agree...but I'm willing to give him more than 11 posts.

Of course, I could be wrong, and you guys right...which is probably the case, I've been known for being too nice, haha...

when it comes to blitzing corners/safeties off the edge, yes. When it comes to a base 3-4, it leans towards coverage sacks more than anything.

thats more what i meant. if no one is open, Qb's will be throwing picks or holding on to the ball too long and getting sacked.

It's not even just that they can cover the receivers and get coverage sacks. If Rex trusts three guys to lock down their men, he can send 7-8 guys from different angles, giving him more options to do different things in terms of blitzing more often with more guys. That's another way to get a pass rush.
