    Hi all,

My wife is a Yankees fan, and wants to watch games on our Direct TV. We have "The Choice" package. How many Yankee games are we going to be able to get via this basic package?

And, what would be the different upgrade packages that would allow us to see a good number of games?

    thanks in advance ....

Even if you have the best package, wont you need Extra Innings in order to get the out of area baseball games?

Games are blacked out out of market, so it generally means watching the replay unless you pony up for Extra Innings.

I am an out of market Yankees fan. I get to see at least 50-80 games withot the MLB ticket. DTV has the MLB network , TBS and Fox. Plus i get any game they play Chicago, tampa, or Florida. Add in the ESPN games. and I get a good chunk of games.

I had to switch to DirecTV from dish Network a few years ago when the Yankees started the YES network. If you live in the NY-NJ area, even getting the MLB extra innings package, Dish Network blacked out the Yankees.....I do beleive that outside the Yankees large viewing area, you can see them.
