What about Micah Johnson? Big LB... is he worth anything?

Exactly! McKnight is our future with Greene. We have no need for a 4th RB unless we want him to compete with CW for meaningless camp time.

He doesn't need to beat out Greene, LT or McKnight.

He needs to beat out Chauncey Washington.

He can do that, easily. If we play the same style of offense in 2010 we did in 2009, we need a serviceable 4th running back on the PS. Blount is more than serviceable.

Actually, can Chauncey even be placed on our PS? If not, I may have to rethink my position.

McKnight may have just cost CW a job.

    I'm with you here.

Unless LT regains form, he's only here for one year. We went into last season with 3 backs, so why not grab a guy like this? Washington, Woodhead<Blount

McKnight sounds like he has a year or 2 before hell be ready for taking carries int he NFL anyway. Alot of the scouting reports for him are saying hes gotta gain a few pounds and work on his fumbling issues before hes ready to go.

Till then we could use him in a receiving fashion (similar to woodhead) plus special teams. Meanwhile using Blount as a short yardage pure battering ram type.

Then in 1-2 years when LT retires as good well have quite a 3 headed monster very similar to what Dallas has

My whole point......if Blount beats out C Washington...he's on the PS.

Some team will come calling for Blount on our PS...unless we bring him on the roster...which isn't happening.

I'd skip Blount and concentrate on bigger needs.

That would mean 6 RBs on the active roster.

LOL if DWare woulda still been here I can imagine the complaint thread he would of made about Ogho still being on the board in the 2nd...then 3rd...4th..5th etc.. We would've had to ban him again to get him to stop.
