I'm absolutely shocked that he fell as far as he did. As soon as the Pats took McCourtey, I knew we were getting Williams, Odrick, or Wilson. That was a fantastic place to be. As soon as Williams went off the board, I knew it was Wilson.

I've been on record as saying drafting a CB in the 1st would cause us problems re-signing Cromartie. It very well could. However, with Wilson in the fold, I don't feel nearly as bad about that. My one concern is how we address the DL in the next round. Obviously, Leon trades are going to be explored at this point. I wouldn't be surprised to see him used tomorrow to move up in the 2nd round, or shipped for a 4th.

 

What defensive or offensive lineman should the Jets have drafted over Kyle Wilson?

 

I guess it's impossible to find an effective end pass rusher in a round other than the 1st, huh?
