Agreed, but the time for bitching about it is pretty much over...until he fucks up in which case we can throw him under every bus in NYC.

I'm hoping this signing means we draft OL or DL in the first round.

    Good signing.

LT, Jason Taylor, Santonio Holmes in one offseason.

    Who could have fucking guessed.

Everyone needs to realize that this gives us a RUSH OLB.... The position that we were thin at and what everyone has been saying has been holding us back.

Who gives a shit if he is a phag, if he gets sacks, everyone will be praising the FO for getting him. He will be a very effective situational pass rusher and thats all we need!!

Step out of your box and realize we just got better!!!

Anyone who thinks this isnt going to make our defense better and that it isn't an upgrade is stupid, regardless of your opinion on the man himself.

EDIT: a couple sacks later and maybe a TD or two, and he will be getting cheered just like everyone else.

Question: What are the main differences between this and Chad going to the Phins?

I'm not sure who the bigger cry babies are, the fish fans in their thread, or our fans in this thread. I'm getting a great kick out of both.

$20 Scott puts a box of tissues and a sequin vest in his locker.

I hope he gets booed and spit on at every home game. Just because he's a Jet now, doesn't make him any less of a douchebag. I hope Jets fans hate him for coming from Miami, and I hope Miami fans now hate him because he became a Jet. He should follow in Ochocinco's footsteps and legally change his name so his uniform can read "Imatool"

exactly, ONE YEAR.. with the condition of our D-Line we better be looking at some solid mid-draft players that will learn behind these guys..

Next season, whose gunna be on our line?

so i guess its official now, Jets are in win now mode..

We sent them Oppie and then took pretty much the exact opposite of Omar Little.

What are you talking about? I don't think JT is going to be a very effective contributor to this defense... He is on the decline, how much desire do you think this guy is going to have while playing for a team that he absolutely dreads? When he clearly states his heart still lies with the Phins, and it always will. That is a heart felt sentiment, good for him, but I don't think that should bring overwhelming confidence to any Jets fan.

I don't understand why that would possibly make you roll over, then fucking laugh? I'm happy to see that you are so easily amused. You're welcome.

I want the Jets to win a Super Bowl as much as anyone, but having that guy be part of the team just will never seem right. He has said he wanted to be in Miami, he really does not want to be here, has hated this team and area for years. Now he will be on the team? It will be very difficult if at all possible to cheer for him. If he is in green and white I will try, but just can't stand him. I said it in another post it is like selling your soul to the devil.

The difference is that Jason Taylor has been considered elite, while Chad Pennington has always been average.

Imagine him standing there in the middle of the field holding the Lombardi Trophy about to talk and the Stadium erupts, "BOOOOOOOO!!!!!"

Haha, that would actually be pretty funny.
