This team is amazing on paper. If it translates to the field, we will have to regarded as one of the elite teams in the NFL along with the Colts and Saints.

I read an article about how woody bought the jets for 635 million and the past couple of years he did not make any money off the team.Until he reached a deal for the new stadium.Thats why I think that he made some big moves because the jets now have thier own stadium and they will make profit...So in other words the jets were restricted with there signing's and now can build a championship team...It might not be this year but soon they will be holding up the lombardi...Thats a big deal because between the pats cheating and us not being able to sign talent in the past ..It cost the team about 10 years of mediocrity..

This team doesn't have any glaring holes. How many other teams in the AFC can you say that about? We actually have more needs on a defense that ranked #1 in the league last season than on offense. Sky's the limit.

the reason he has so much money is because he makes money on all of his business ventures.

Yeah.I just did not know that cause what he paid for the jets. That he was gonna lose money until he got a stadium...Why did the NFL let that go for so long because it is a business and every team should have had thier own stadium..That being said the new stadium fits double the amount of fans and teams are gonna hate playing in the jets new stadium...

This is a very true statement, and it is amazing when you think about it. On offense, the only thing we are all worrying about is off-field distractions and health. I would also add Sanchez's progression to that mix, but that is basically it right there. The defensive side is where this team needs to add a few more pieces possibly at safety and OLB/DE. I'm pretty sure it is a foregone conclusion that Rex/Tanny will go defense with their first pick (where ever that might be since a trade down or up is never out of the realm of possibility with Tanny at the helm).

I will add the only...ONLY possible way I could see the Jets going offense with their first pick is if they trade down into the 2nd and get a RB due to something going on with Leon. I'm sure some would argue offensive linemen could be an option (which I would be all for as well), but I think they are comfortable enough with the backups they already have that they probably won't feel the need to pick an OT or G so early in this draft.

We should just leave the offense alone. The only thing it lacks is experience. It's a lot easier to draft when you only have to focus on one side of the ball so let's do it. I really don't want to hear about trading Leon. There's a big difference between him and Rhodes because Rhodes was a pussy that didn't fit in. Leon was a leader for us on and off the field.

I wouldn't mind maybe grabbing some additional O-line depth late.....but I definitely want to see the first 3 picks (or 4 if we trade down) used on the defense.

Preferably our first and 2nd on two players for the front 7......and our 4th on a long term solution at Free Safety.
