Weekend Tour- Take your kids

The Upper Deck check out your seats weekend-

 

I went to the big city classic last weekend at the new stadium. That place is awesome.

 

I'm in the Upper deck and have been for 20+ years and I have no interest in going to see my seat.

Maybe it's just me but I'm more interested in where we are going to tailgate then the view from my seat. And I'm seriouss we got 14 guys at our tailgate. I mean how much different could the view be. i'm in the upper deck behind the endzone like I was at Shea and like I was at Giants Stadium. And i could care less about what the rest of the stadium has to offer. For 20+ years I've gone from the tailgate to my seat, with the occasional stop in the pisser and then back to the tailgate afte the game. Other than going to an Army/Navy game about 5 years ago I have Never - not once - gone to the other side of the stadium. It wasn't until that Army Navy game that I even knew there was a Jets Shop on the upper deck.

 

Awesome. ToddtoBarkum is a great name too. I remember that reception in the end zone at Shea like it was yesterday. Everyone hugged.

You're so stubborn its fantastic. I spent 30 plus years at Shea and then Giants Stadium tucked under the roof in one of the endzones too. Closed end at Shea, obviously. This year we're headin' upstairs, west endzone. Maybe we'll be neighbors. Anyone named ToddtoBarkum would be someone I want to sit near, so good luck. We're in 301.

Trivia Q: what profession was Bobby Jones in when he got a chance to join the Jets as a FA back in the Barkum days... Remember Bobby Jones?

I'm guessing that most of us will be able to tailgate in similar areas. My group always parked way out there, so it'll still be way out there with this place.

 

Where did you here this? I've called trying to verify and just keep getting their voicemail. Would definitely love to bring the kids.

THAT 301 was probably better than this one will be.

 

My Father and I have been in 140 for 21 years and I bought the PSL's for us in the new place.

I figured it was a nice way to pay him back for all those free games. I'm 30 so that's why I wasn't paying my own way.

 

Anyone know what time the tour is today?
