Jason Taylor seeming likely [edited]

He's got the option to sign in Miami but the reason he is stalling is he knows the Phins might be good but they don't nearly have enough players to be a SB caliber team. The ironic thing is he doesn't put them over the top but he might put us over. Take your time, weigh your options because when he signs here it kills the Phins fans more them it did if he never met with Miami.

 

They just got a whole lot better with Marshall.

It's not just Marshall the Jets defense needs to worry about. The Dolphins already strong running game just got stronger. Same as the Jets running game when they acquired Edwards.

 

Rich, I don't care if Jason Taylor signs with the Jets. The only decent season the Dolphins have had in the last 5 years, he was with the Redskins. Additionally, when Dancing With The Stars was the priority over OTA's and being a leader under a new regime took a back seat, he lost mine and many Dolphins fans respect. Good riddance.

yeah i just saw him on sportscenter saying the same thing. he was laughing at how the dolphins don't really want him but the fan base does and how the jets really want him but the fan base doesn't.

 

I'm not happy if this deters the team from drafting a pass rushing OLB

 

Taylor wouldn't be a long term solution.....I'm hopeful the OLB position will still be addressed in the draft....just might not be the 1st round.

I already had the position falling to round 5 before the Holmes trade. Now I have OLB in the 1st round. If we sign Taylor, it'll probably fall again.

2. DE > DE
4. FS > FS
5. OLB > Holmes (rofl)
