NO! The Raiders overpaid for him and look at where they are. If you are scoring alot, like we should with a second year QB and "Ground & Pound" we shouldnt have to punt that much, as well as the fact that our defense will keep others teams off the field and give the ball back to the offense. Yes the guy can kick it down into the Main Street beyiond the stadium, but Al Davis picking draft picks is much like trying to suck a Bowling Ball thru a Garden Hose! Only damn Owner or GM at Draft Day still holding a "Ma-Bell Telephone with a rotary dial" in his hand vrs. each and every other team with Cell Phones, Lap Tops etc.
I'd like an upgrade over Weatherford but I don't want the team paying anything north of 1mil for a punter.
The Raiders have speed too.................FUCK, WE SHOULD GET SOME!!!!! DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!
So Petrozza... Any return date on the trashtalking forum or is it gone forever? ...cause I really miss it.
Wow this is one of the worst posts I have ever read. #1 ground and pound + second yr Qb means field position battle. The reason why a punter is important. #2 offenses keep the other team off the field, not defenses. A good D can help keep the field position battle in our favor, and a good punter will help keep it that way. The rest of your post makes absolutely no sense so I won't even get into it. B
just sign some guy that plays soccer. he can be our punter/kickoff-guy, and a kickoff returner. ya know them futbowl guys are quick.
Beer makes a Band of Brothers marathon great, not pizza. A hot pizza can help keep 10 straight hours of Steven Speilberg produced material entertaining, and pepperoni help keep it that way.
To a team like the Jets Field Goal kickers and punters are an extremely critical position more so than any other team - low offensive point production and great defense boost the importance of kicking game
