The only way i'd be ok with us making that big splash would be to get a RFA pass rusher which i'm not sure there are any available.
Maybe in the draft we package something together to move up and grab someone if we get a pick for LW? If this does happen i'd love to see us grab Spiller, who could replace LW in both the return game and RB.

i dont either, but those were the only two big names on our radar still that could be considered big splashes. after reading your marshall news, the big question i have is:

WHAT KIND OF SICK BITCH WOULD MARRY BRANDON MARSHALL?!?!

does she realize that shes going to be spending her life trying to make black eyes a fashion accessory? seriously the guy beats bitches like he beats secondaries.

He is not stirring up the pot, he just needs to submit an article and there is no news to report.

Well the only splash towards jets fans would probably signng coles..... That would be kinda cool. Also what about the saftey Hamlin that Dallas just cut that is if we are still lOoking for a saftey... He is pretty good and just got cut

I hope not Coles. But wouldn't mind Hamlin coming on board though I don't know much about his playing style.

Decided to google his old scouting report since I'm bored at work.

Would be shocked if Coles signed before the draft. He's like a bunch of other veteran WR's: waiting to see who drafts who and go to the teams that miss out on WRs in the draft.

I could still see Coles being a Jet, but he'll have to wait until after the draft.

I wouldn't mind Coles for a 1year deal for 1.5mill. (If we cant solve the #3 WR Prob)Instant upgrade to our WR Corps. Who is the Jet # 3 WR? Nobody. Brad Smith, and Clowney don't count in my opinion.

i hope the only 'splash' is the sound of Gholston getting thrown under the boat.

I would love to have Coles back (for cheap too) With Coles as the 3rd option Sanchez will be alright.

No? How about Vincent Jackson? He's an RFA isn't he? Or Miles Austin. A lot of "experts" say the Jets are one receiver away from being a legimate superbowl contender.

Hmm,not sure I agree with the experts. A genuine threat at Pass rush for a start is missing. I still think that safety is also an area that could use help

you would give up a 1 and 3 for Jackson or Austin? I'm not saying their arent guys out there that we could use, because we could certainly use them, but the price tag just makes it unwise to consider it, especially since we have Edwards on an RFA deal, and having two top WR's with 1 year left on their contract is borderline stupid, especially considering the amount of money that would need to be doled out for either of those two guys upon signing a long term deal

Richard Seymour spent years disproving that myth about 3-4 DEs. Their primary function is to occupy blockers for the LBs, but if you can find a 3-4 DE that can do that plus get penetration, your defense will be all the more successful for it.

Not that I would be all that happy about trading so far up for him, but I think Suh would flourish in a defense like Rex's.
