I know this has been done before, but i forget what the results were. I'm curious to see who the regular TGG Jets fan roots for in the regular season. I figured the start of baseball season was as good a time as any to make this poll again. Who do you like?
I've been a Yankee fan longer than a Jet fan, but I'm honestly getting tired of the Yanks. When they won the world series, I honestly didn't care that much.
Baseball season is way too long and boring as shit, but I'm a Yankees fan and follow it even though I find it very boring and over hyped.
While the Jets are my first love when it comes to sports the Yankees are a very close second. The Knicks have been a distant 3rd for awhile now.

No I'm not joking. It's just getting boring for me. It sounds like treason (it probably is). Winning gets boring, but I'm still a fan. Watching the game tonight helped me to remember that. And it's not like I'm switching to the dark side...
Die hard Yankee fan. I became a Yankee fan at birth and I catch all the games on TV. The Jets are a distant second.
Jets fans who are Yankee fans are illogical. I'm surprised the numbers are so in favor of the Yanks, usually it's Jet/Mets. For me, I like neither except when I'm up in Masshole territory then I'm a huge Yankee fan.
I was born the year the Jets and the Mets both won it all. I have been a fan every since! I'm not one to ever change teams so it will be that way until I die.
being a yanks fan is very different from being a jets fan b/c being a yanks fan your expectations are to win every year. I guess that's what makes it boring for you... not for me though
I've been a Yankees fan far longer than a Jets fan, and that'll never change. I lost quite a bit of love for the sport after the strike, where I developed a strong love for football, but over the past decade I've really come back around to baseball. At this point I'm more excited for baseball season than football season, though I prefer watching each Jets game over each Yankees game. Obviously each Jets game has a bigger effect on the overall outcome, so it holds more appeal there.
The fact that there are a lot of Yankees/Jets fans out there makes it not at all illogical. Baseball and football are two completely different sports. I'd say the bigger connection is NY Football Giants and NY Baseball Giants (Mets). Those teams had the same name, and if you were a fan of one you were a fan of the other. When the baseball Giants left NY, the last thing NY football Giants fans wanted to do was become Yankees fans, but in the 5 years before the Mets came along, many of them defected. I remember a friend's father telling me that when he was a kid and the NY Football Giants moved to Yankee Stadium, fans were PISSED.
Well I was a Yankee fan since birth. Dad and my uncle are big Yankee fans, they took me to my first game etc... They were fans before the Mets existed. Since I live in Queens my dad was able to catch a few Jet games at Shea. It also helped that my big sister went to Hofstra, so I would always watch the Jets during TC. Traditionally, it is Yankees/Giants and Mets/Jets, but I have already had my fair share of disappointment from the Jets (not anymore with Rex), so thank God I'm a Yankee fan.
I am a Mets fan!!!I don't care much for the yanks but as a Mets fan baseball is extremely frustating!
