It's a shame, and a crock of shit, that the Jets aren't back in NY. I never caught a game in Giants Stadium, only been to away games. But..here's to the new era.

It was an excellent diversion in the off season, they were smart because they signed alot of established NFL players....plus the football was exciting...

Herschel walker was on Howard stern and he said that he signed a contract with Trump, not the USFL, so when the league folded he got paid in full. He said it was a personal services contract. Smart move

He signed with the Generals before they were owned by Trump. Did he renegotiate his contract after his first year?

I'm very happy I can stand on my porch and see the stadium. Thank God the Jets are in Jersey...lol

I must have rolled 1,000 Jersey General posters and seen Doug Flutie's face in my sleep for a month. I was in cub scouts and a bunch of troops went to the stadium for the '85 season and we rolled promotional posters that were getting handed out to fans. It was a crazy 2 days. We were all in the stadium club house. It was fun as hell. I'm gonna have to make a trip to my parents and see if I can dig out my poster. God knows I saved that.

I was smart enough to hang on to a bunch of Cosmos and WC '94 memorabilia as well.
