I don't mind that I'm getting clobbered here because: - I can't be ripped for thinking this was actually plausible. (I said right up front it would never happen). - I can't be ripped for wanting this trade. (I said right up front that I wouldn't be in favor of it). In my opinion, the only justified criticism I have left myself open to is that I enjoy shooting the shit about crazy hypotheticals like this. I can live with that. Some people on here take their posting so seriously, I swear they think their posts might garner them consideration the next time a GM position opens up.
how is it McNabb makes us better last time I checked him and Sanchez have the same number of rings this is retarded. The thought of this puts me in a bad mood
Seriously? In that case, I'm guessing you also think Aaron Rodgers or Philip Rivers wouldn't make this team better either? Let's wake up a little bit here. The lack of a Superbowl ring still doesn't change the fact that he is clearly the superior QB at this moment in time.
Lol antonio cromartie is our number 3 receiver then. Hell no we dont need aso and id rather have mark than mcnabb
alleycat9, firemanedjr, GeshJet, HardHitta, JetsYankeesThrylos, Scoffaveli3, soxxx, The Screed = voted yes
Not a chance. McNabb and ASO are both "getting up there" in football terms. Revis/CRO are young. Sanchez is the future of the JETS, hes gonna be around for a while.
I would beg to differ, considering Mcnabb is in a decline. Where the sky is the limit for Sanchez. You should be ashamed to even defend this. We finally have a franchise qb and the first off season people want to trade him give your fucking head a shake!!!!!!!!
I'm not sure what you mean by "defending" anything. I never said I would make the trade. All I said was that McNabb is a better QB at this moment in time despite your proclamation that he simply does not make this team better since he and Sanchez have the same number of Superbowl rings. Nowhere in my post did I defend this trade. Also, if you read the OP you would see that all of this is simply for conversation. I highly doubt that most of the jet fanbase is looking to trade Sanchez which is CLEARLY shown by the poll results right in this very thread.
Iggy, you forgot this part: I know this probably would never happen so don’t bother posting: “This would never happen” – I know “The Jets are committed to WOODHEAD” – I know “The Jets don’t need TAMPA BAY #3 now that they have BRODNEY POOL” – hopefully true? I just thought it would make for interesting conversation since it’s the offseason. My personal opinion is that this would be a bad move for the Jets long term since we’d be losing a WOODHEAD and acquiring a older DRAFT PICK, but I think it would make the Jets the favorite to win the Superbowl this year.
