Cant eve compare Clarett to Williams. Wher were they drafted? Williams has NFL Experance and was a starter for 3 years. Clarett didnt even make the team. Buck up and start to know what you are talking about before posting.

Also how many times besides the 2 games the jets play the bills have you seen him play? If you have any football knowladge you will close your mouth until you have actually facts to back up your statements.

I am not infactuated with him, I think he could be a steal if he drops about 40 lbs. HE WAS THE 3rd OVERALL PICK. He has talent he just needs to get out of Buffalo and stop eating the Wings. Again, for a mill or 2 take a chance on a 1 year deal

There is a difference between wishing for something and making a comparison, which is what I did.

Let's see. I think the majority here realizes what a horrible bust Williams is, that he's too overweight, sluggishly slow, and that his technique isn't solid enough for him to block out defenders. He may have been a starter, but that still doesn't mean he was playing well. He was moved around because of his obvious failure to play at the tackle position. After his short stint in Buffalo, he's finally being released.

You keep insisting he can be great because he was a first rounder, but that's not a solid argument at all. There's a reason Buffalo doesn't want anything to do with their former 1st round pick. You think that a change of scenery will suddenly motivate him to get himself into playing shape and learn some fundamental skills? You can believe that all you want, and I'll just be happy you aren't the Jets' GM.

You still didnt answer my question....have you seen Mike williams play more than 2 times a year or is it speculation? i get to watch him every Sunday and he plays with Flashes....why is it not worth a mill or 2 on a 1 year offer. I didnt hear you compaine about lance legree or when we took a chance on TY Law...I know williams in not in the TY Law class but he does have upside...if it doesnt work out at least we can say see ya fatty

I live in Buffalo, trust me we don't want him.

He never was motivated and I remember he came to camp overweight. Also not to mention he's not that good. Also, he's a pretty injury proned man. Don't even attempt it I say

Williams is a big guy but plays soft with no heart. I'd rather have a much smaller O lineman with a mean streak a mile wide because nice guys get their quarterback killed.

If we can get him on the cheap fine he can be a good backup, and maybe not accept the fact of a backup and ressurect his game. Maybe he just needed a diffrent OLINE coach.
