not the l.t. part.the "as early as today" part.you can use that anywhere and not be wrong.ie:"mark sanchez could retire from football as early as today"
How do you know more about the Chargers than I do? Under norv turner in 2007 LT was the leading rusher in the nfl. Although I do think Norv is an idiot when it comes to the run game. But we did lose our starting center in week 1 (and put in a guy who had never started), lost our RG for a few weeks (who was a rookie and started the rest of the year), lost our RT for half the year (and started a rookie in his place) Did you know that in 2003 we had 13 different people start on the offensive line, and he still managed to put up 1600 rushing yards 13 TDs with a 5.3 avg, 100 receptions for 725 yards and 4 TDs. If LT can get back to 100% healthy? He was healthy the majority of the year. He looked back to being healthy around week 6.
Well if he left my guess is he won't be signing with us, this comes as a big shock to me because I didn't think he'd leave w/o signing.
i'm surprised too, Rich. I find it hard to believe that LT would take a chance on Minny...when their QB situation is still in limbo. Plus....he'd probably see the field more here. Just doesn't make sense.
Probably talking it through with his family, been on west coast for so long its a big family move to drag them over to here. Still see us getting the deal
He said from the beginning he wouldn't sign until going home and speaking to his wife. Doesn't really mean anything, he's just doing what he said he'd do. Personally, I see him signing with the Vikes though.
fuck Yugo....Florio's sources are about as reliable as jonnyd's attendance at a TGG function. yeah...I fucking went there.
The Vikings play at the Jets in 2010. If he signs with the Vikings, then the Jets will have to teach him a lesson.
I figured this would happen. If he could leave Minnesota without signing then he could leave New York just as easily. He's going to want his wife's opinion, especially since he now has to make a decision about where his first born son is going to spend his first year of life. Tannenbaum and Rex gave him the full press so he will have a lot to consider.
After living on the West Coast for 12 years I can tell you it would be very difficult for me to move back East. The difference is this is a part time move. I also read hsi 1st child is due in September so it's not like he'll need to worry about schools until he has hung up the cleats.
Not necesarily, he said this a few days ago ending his superbowl dreams and career in SD (and mocking him) wasn't enough?
My general feeling is if he doesn't sign with us I'd love to see him reunite with Drew Brees. These guys are very close ...it was like a Chad/Coles relationship. I've heard rumors that they both own homes across the street from each other in Texas.
