I'm sorry that you're 13-3 team was at a disadvantage starting the cornerback that you had been starting for years.
Re: Source: LT to visit Jets on Friday So you gave up on one team and switched to another. That's weak. Someone check this guy for the same IP as Killeri.
Yea the same corner who openly admitted to slacking off in 2008 because he thought his talent was all he needed. The same guy who was half-assing it in the 2009 offseason, and Shawne Merriman has to tell him to get his ass in gear (because Norv turner is too much of a pussy to have any authority over his players). How many times did the defenders have an open tackle, and deliberately chose to just stand there like an idiot though? Weddle had a tackle, but he went too high on Greene and got ran over
I'm not sure how true much of your statement is but I do think if TJ could catch the ball out of the backfield as well as LT then he would still be there . With Sanchez going into his 2nd year he'll need the tools to dump off a lot. So I hope it happens he's good for the O, and we need all the help we can get on Offense. we need at least 20 points a game
I don't understand fans like that. Invest time into one team, and when things are going bad...oh well, time to root for another team.
Are you really going to hang your hat on that last attempt? I mean, damn, it's as if the chargers only had one player on the field. Where was hard ass Merriman on that play? I wouldn't want to tackle Greene either.
I was only a Bills fan because my parents were. And when they got rid of Flutie I had no desire to root for them anymore. That whole organization is screwed anyways. Plus I hadn't exactly invested a lot of time into the Bills....I was 10 or 11 at the time. Yes, Cromartie single-handedly ended our season. The team was well aware that he didn't like tackling too (and he's admitted that he doesn't like tackling drills in practice), but did nothing to address it. Merriman hasn't been 100% all year since coming off of that knee surgery. He got pushed around like a rag-doll.
Re: Source: LT to visit Jets on Friday I'm going to accept that as an explanation, actually. I can see the appeal for a 10 or 11 year old to want to root for a QB who was the same size as himself.
Here, tardbruner, I'm put some spaces in your worthless wall of text to make it less irritating to pick apart. You only started saying 'wait and see' after I showed how stupid your original point about the injuries was. You also said they were close to the same age, when they are actually 3 years apart. 3 years is about a career length of the average NFL runningback. Another worthless point that you failed to support your argument with. His injuries ARE minor compared to what LT has experienced in his career. And no page and a half of retarded babble from you is going to change that fact. By the way, Leon is not 'almost out the door' - maybe if you had bothered to read and comprehend (lol) this thread, instead of popping off with your half-assed cut-n-paste version of an argument, you would have even a passable understanding of the situation. I know that's too much to ask, but we can all hope for you. They are courting LT because they want a stable of runningbacks - LT will fill the role that they wanted Thomas Jones to fill, before he turned down their offer to restructure his contract. I happen to think that they WILL get LT. And the will also keep Leon. And of course, you will type up another illegible wall of text complaining about it, because it confuses you. But don't worry - I'll tell you what you should think about it. I'm here for you, tardbruner. I'll be your simulated brain from now on.
MrE, that's an unconfirmed rumor. Try to find the original article on PFT - they DELETED IT. All they did was post an unsupported article this morning, let the rumor spread like widfire, and then take the article down. Every single mention of that rumor that the Jets had a chance to match ends up referring back to that PFT article. The one that no longer exists.
If I'm not mistaken, LT has never needed surgery on any of his injuries. Yea they were, but Cromartie's play was a choice, not a mistake.
So... wait... your head coach was too much of a pussy to contront Cro about slacking, but it's a single cornerback's fault that your team couldn't win against a heavy underdog? Homer much?
