A taste of the nightlife and he's hooked! This is looking like a signing to me coming up soon.

    I'd sign Pliskin.

It seems like even Florio decided that one was not reliable.

Depending on the location and type of fracture, of course, fully healed fractured bones are typically stronger at the point of fracture than they were prior to injury.

LT going to the same team that beat him, mocked him (more than once), and with Cromartie would just be gross.

It would be interesting to see what he can do behind one of the best lines in football. But considering he wants to win a superbowl, and the jets shouldn't have even made the playoffs (and could easily miss next year), i don't see why he would choose the jets over vikings.

As a chargers fan, i'll let you guys know that he had a lot of problems with balance and vision this year. He would often miss a hole, and would just run into the back of his o-line. He would also be in the open and just trip over his own feet. He completely lost his jump cut too. All he has is straight forward speed really. He's still the best goal line back of all time though.

As far as catching the ball goes, he used to be our best receiver. These days i'm not so sure. When we did throw to him, the timing with Rivers was bad, or he got stuffed right away, or tripped over his feet. If you're going to throw to him, I can only see it working if it's a screen, and he's just sent straight downfield with good blocking.

I think both Jones and Tomlinson have question marks about how much they have in the tank. However, if you have to take both guys the upside for Tomlinson is probably higher than it is for Jones.

I do agree with the notion that Jones was too prideful to sign the deal, which is a little surprising because at this stage in their careers most guys want to go to teams that are going to win games, not give them big pay days

Why so? LT brings alot to the table , we have a great Oline he can catch the ball out of the back field , solid runner. and we don't need a work horse he'll still the the big name back so he looses no status and he complements Leon and Greene I see no down side

The jets still have the same team as last year.

The Vikings might not have the QB who COMPLETELY ENTIRELY carried their team the entire season. They have NO offensive line, NO secondary, and their epic defensive line is getting old and @ the end of their ropes. The Vikes have nothing going for them, at least the Jets are already a stronger team than they were last year, and being that 2 of their best players are coming back off IR and their young QB is only going to get better, this team has big things ahead.

LT actually has the 2nd most TD passes of all time by a non-QB if i'm not mistaken (behind Walter Payton).

Yeah but in a compound fracture, when the bone breaks through skin, some people never walk the same after incurring such an injury. It's a miracle we are even talking about Leon Being able to play at all.

The Jets only got into the playoffs because the Colts layed down. They're in a solid division and it could go either way for them. Plus the AFC overall is stronger than the NFC imo.

Of course LT isn't going to go to the Vikes unless they have Brett Favre, imo. But the general consensus is that he's coming back.

And I like Sanchez, but he's still young and Mr. Drops-a-lot is his main receiver, isn't he? He could have somewhat of a sophmore slump like Matt Ryan did too.

It will be hard to miss holes 3 feet wide.

you sound like a disgruntled mistress...

Backs run into the thier O-Line when it sucks, thats what happens... and backs miss holes that are open when they normally get crushed in the back field, and backs often trip in the open field when its not something they normally see... its like a mirage, they can't believe it... TJ is about to remember what that feels like in KC

Now he's gotten older, and lost a step, but the organization shifted its priorities after they ran the guy into the ground, and threw him to the trash heap... I don't think its a wise signing for the Jets, but if he's signed I'll root for him.

No one seems to be willing to acknowledge that. Everything he has previously done will put him in the HOF but as of right now, his game makes him JAG.

If you put his current skill set and ability in any other player, Tomlinson would look like a decent pass-catching HB and nothing more.
