Colts cut him...assuming Penny resigns with Miami, and Delhomme wants to hold out hope to be a starter somewhere, Sorgi would be the PERFECT back-up for Sanchez. Sure more game experience would be better, but having worked with Peyton for 5 or 6 years and been on the sideline for 16 playoff games and 2 super bowls has to count for something. And he's cheap. Bring it.
well if he actually was cut by the colts the final 4 does not apply anymore... of course, I don't care enough about sorgi to determine if thats the case... We already have 3 backup QB's. So I would like to assume we don't need a 5th.
yeah if he's cut it doesn't matter than we're a final 4 team. sigh.... Bottom line is we need a vet. I pray someone takes Clemens off our hands and gives us a 3rd rounder, but that's not too likely. Ainge could easily be gone after camp. A Sanchez/Sorgi/O'Connell group is better than Sanchez/Clemens/Ainge.. anyway....go Jets.
lol... it dose suck when you act like an ass about something and are 100% in the wrong. On the other hand its a good laugh for the rest of us.
or maybe clemens will accept his fate as a career clipboard holder, and he'll become our own little version of Sorgi.
Yah, yeah..so I missed this line.. "The final four teams shall not be permitted to negotiate and sign any unrestricted free agent to a player contract except for players who acquired their status by being cut or were on the final four team when their contract expired."
you guys can't tell me you're happy with our back-up QB situation. there's no way. As the lizard on youtube says, "NO WAY, NOT EVAH." laugh all you want at Sorgi, but really, Clemens/Ainge/O'Connell if Sanchez goes down? Why allow the season to be lost if our QB, who has brittle KNEES, goes down? Get a back-up who can get it done. Sorgi has been in one of the best offensive systems of the decade for a long time. I'm just saying.
yes, Sorgi has a history of getting it done. I hate to break it to you, but if Sanchez goes down the season is lost no matter who is backing him up.
