It figures, the Ravens finally got themselves a wideout that can make a difference, and he'll probably be on the IR in October.

4 year extension, wow. I would`ve thought they do a 1 year trial first.

smart move for Baltimore. THey haven't been too lucky drafting WRs, so might as well go for someone you know can produce. Hopefully he stays healty

Often injuryed player passed his peak....I'd pass.

Could be good news for the Jets.....since Baltimore would've been considering a WR in Rd 1. Golden Tate may just be available at #29.

The Jets have Cotchery who keeps his mouth shut and plays his ass off.

We never needed Boldin. That being said, I'm glad he went to the Ravens and it wasn't Miami.

Baltimore probably had to give up the 4th rounder just because of Belichick.

Boldin is a perfect replacement for Mason.

The Ravens still needs a number two, though.

Baltimore still needs a #2 WR. Say hello to a 2010 receiving corps of Anquan Boldin and Golden Tate/Arrelious Benn.

Mark Clayton is a restricted free agent. They could bring him back. They also signed Donte' Stallworth. Is Demetrius Williams still there? He's just okay, but the point is the team would have four veteran WRs if Clayton and Williams are back.
They traded a 3rd round pick and a 4th round pick to get Boldin. Are those 2010 picks?
If so, I can't see them drafting a WR in round 1 or 2 this year unless they simply draft the best player available. If they were to draft a WR in round 1 or 2, the guy might not do anything as a rookie. Some of these WRs take a few years to become effective in the NFL.

Pretty good deal for the Ravens, didn't give up too much. I agree, if healthy a great move.
