At last! A Super Bowl logo we can really respect! This is what we've been waiting for! Actually, I don't like it. It's not compact enough for a logo, the trophy sticks out way too much.
I imagine it'll be Jets/Giants in Jerry Jones' big fucking house. Football gods want to see the Mannings dealt with back to back.
Quite stunning. The trophy always looks so shiny. Mrs lombardi must have spent a good bit of time polishing the thing.
I wouldn't put it past Jones to whine about getting his fancy new stadium in the trophy, even going so far as to make it a new type of standard practice. He doesn't care about the long term so long as he gets his way.
they put the location of the SB or the stadium on all pictures for the given year. SB 28 had Atlanta's stadium on it. Its the only example I could find.
1st thing I thought, along with just placing the trophy on top...... personally I don't like it. about the location reference, they've done it often. Not necesarily the stadium, but a geographic reference. When it was in JAX they had a bridge in the logo (city of 7 bridges) roses when it was played in the rose bowl, waves in SD, etc......
All the way around this would be superb. Realistically though, I dont see the Giants making the big game next year. As for the logo, I like it.
