I hate this idea, the fact that it somehow merited 43 responses, and the fact that I just made it 44.
He blew a 0.12, and struck a man crossing a highway in the dead of night. There but for the grace of God goes you, me, and everybody we both know. So everybody here should get off their high horse.
I nick named him Donte Stalldrive when he was in New Orleans ... he has butter fingers when you need that 3rd down catch... he dropped passes in every game... Jets fans, you do NOT want him!! plus he was said to be a total ass lint in the locker room...
I'd let him into TC for a one year at the league minimum to try out for a spot. No hurt in that. Lets see what he can do.
Wait didn't the guy he killed, like jump out in front of him? Its not really his fault he killed the guy. Yes he was drunk, but he would've hit the guy regardless because the person jumped out in the middle of the road. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4301749 "Prosecutors said the video, recorded by a Florida Power & Light camera, shows Reyes running across MacArthur Causeway on March 14 and being struck by Stallworth's 2005 Bentley luxury car. On a recorded 911 call, Stallworth said that Reyes "came out of nowhere" before the crash." Give the guy a chance, how would you like if you were driving down the road casually and someone jumped out in front of you and you killed them? Then everyone starts calling you a murderer etc. From what I understand, it wasn't his fault.
What the fuck is he going to say? "Yea, I totally saw him, I just didn't feel like stopping." There were no tire skids on the road, which means he never tried to apply his breaks. Anyway...who gives a shit?(aside from friends and family of the deceased) He's a shit WR. If the Jets sign him it will be a huge mistake that should get Tanny fired. Jets fans that want to sign him are idiots.
