We need someone who knows how to run routes... if he is capable good let's get him... if he sucks at it then no thanks.
......ok, gettin plastered all night on alcohol, jumpin behind the wheel of a car and flyin down the road life taker of an ordinaray joe just getting off work to take care of his family..... kinda guy!!
i cant believe he is a free man....he was driving drunk and killed a guy...should get 20 years!!!! so er yeah, NO!!!!!!
Is Clowney not good or not getting a chance? He has made some pretty spectacular catches, i just i have a feeling he gets on Rex's nerves so he rides pine.
Clowney has no idea what a route is and doesn't understand he needs to get separation from a CB. As a deep threat he is good but right now we need a reliable slot guy... and he isn't that guy! I'm all for keeping him on the team... but he has to prove his worth in this year TC to get a spot in the final day roster! I think Britt Davis will turn some heads this season... and the FO apparently is high on Marcus Henry... we'll see.
Stallworth isn't even really an upgrade. I'd rather take my chances on a Clowney, Britt, FA, or Rookie.
Q: Who has been the most overrated, injury-prone wide receiver of the last 10 years? A: Donte Stallworth
You know how many drinks he had to have had in him? He didn't have 2 drinks and get behind the wheel.
no i agree i'm not saying he had 2 drinks...but all i'm saying is that if he had one drink and this happened its the same charge... his BAC was about .13 if i recall and to be honest that could of been 2 to 3 drinks...i don't know for sure...but that isn't my point anyway
probably....in health class all i remember is my teacher holding a banana..something i'd like to forget
Why not? I'm sure not many people will want him, and if he can upgrade Clowney as a deep threat, he wouldn't be the worst move if we could have freedom in free agency. But since we can't sign many UFAs, I'd rather look elsewhere. I don't see him as a slot receiver, which is what we need. He'd be an interesting deep threat if he were still in shape though.
We have one of those already. His name is Braylon Edwards and the coaches need to start using him correctly.
