December 2nd when we signed Matt Mulligan from the practice squad. http://www.newyorkjets.com/news/articles/show/3463-te-matt-mulligan-signed-from-practice-squad
That one was almost on my list, but I then realized everyone would do that so I tried to be original.
no that don't count.i hate that we have to tie the pats failures as success for us.fuck that.the only time we should flaunt a patriots lose is when we stomped a mudhole into them.not because another team did it
Here's my top five meadowlands memories: 1) 12/29/02 Jets 42 Packers 17 - enough said 2) 10/23-24/00 Jets 40 Dolphins 37 - Monday night miracle 3) 1/4/03 Jets 41 Colts 0 - Jets dominate Manning & Co. Shutout 4) 1/3/10 Jets 37 Bengals 0 - Jets close out Giants Stadium w/ win 5) 12/18/88 Jets 27 Giants 21 - Jets win season finale eliminating Giants in process Honorable mention: 1/10/99 Jets 34 Jags 24 - Jets advance to AFC Title Game 9/21/86 Jets 51 Dolphins 45 - all-time classic shootout 12/22/85 Jets 37 Browns 10 - Jets crush Browns to finish 11-5 and clinch playoff
We can't forget S. Greene running over a Charger en route to a HUGE upset of the Chargers in the 2nd round of the playoffs... very few pundits (except, of all people, Terry Bradshaw) gave us a chance in that game. But yeah, the Monday Night Miracle is legendary.
in no particular order, but the monday night miracle, the way we won the division in 02, and the run we had this season. and of course the shutout of peyton and co. in the 02 playoffs, so i guess this is my top 4.
I'd say the playoff win against the Colts (41-0). This was biggest for me because it was the first playoff game I was ever able to attend. Monday Night miracle was great too!
best game memory that sticks out at me was john halls winning 52 yard field goal at OAK to get us into the playoffs... not the best moment of the decade but for me the best memory for some reason
3 games that stand out #1 Monday Night Miracale #2 game vs Green Bay to get us into the playoffs at home of 02-03 season #3 41-0 Beatdown of the Colts in the 2002-03 season
as far as i am concerned, there is simply no reason that the Cincinatti beatdown 37-0 shouldnt be on this list. other memories, Monday Night Miracle Green Bay 42-17 Indy 41-0 first SD win to put us into the divisional round in 04 also our run this year but idk if that counts because technically it was 2010 but the 2009 season....
