Britt Davis, Jason Davis, Kroul, and Steinkuhler(favorite last name ever) were all in camp last year. Jason Davis is going to push Richardson for a job. I remember Britt Davis' name being mentioned a lot during TC but I don't think it was ever good news.

They were the guy on the PS.

We also signed Dan Gay (OT), some guys from the CFL, Wodhead and Turner.

He supposedly was really good last year before the pre-season fiasco.

Rex was referring to him as a possible "secret weapon"...

I watched Britt during practice last year, big guy, decent speed, needs work with hanging on to the ball IMO..

It was good news. Remember when Rex said they had a "secret weapon" at WR, he kept dropping balls in preseason, but he looked like he had good speed, size, and he could get separation. Just didn't look the ball in.

Don't forget we have Aundrae Allison too from IR, he could be our PR if we don't sign/draft one, he even looked good at WR during preseason.

Most of them are on the practice squad so they get a paycheck. I worked in minor league baseball (Low A) and you'd be amazed at some of the shit these kids do. If you got a nice big signing bonus your living the good life but if not you farm, paint houses, drive a truck and somehow fit baseball in. One guy I am still friends with was a substitute teacher. When playing baseball is your part time job something is crazy.

Can someone give me an update on Kroul? Has Rex said anything about him? I didn't get any of the Jets preseason games in Iowa this year, so I didn't get a chance to see him playing. Like Shonn Greene, he's a Hawkeye, so I'm interested in how he's doing.

I thought he looked good in preseason but only played late with the third stringers. He was on the PS all year and I saw one news item that listed him as a LB. I don't know if that was a mistake or if they were trying to move him. I know he is a little light to be on a 3-4 line.
