Rhodes and Coles are the two culprits with ease. Two above average to good players that thought they were HOFers. Coles worked his ass off, and was very consistent, but he was too outspoken. Rhodes is just a punk bitch with one truly good year under his belt. Coles is gone and the Jets go further than they ever did with him on the team. So is the next step getting rid of Rhodes and winning the SB?
If Jenkins was talking about stuff said in the newspapers TJ may also be a culprit... He is a "team first" guy but he also loves himself quite a bit... I can see him being jealous of Favre spotlight.
Guys who think they are a superstars but really are not on that Jets team... the first one that comes to mind is Rhodes. With the modling, TV, and "hollywood" nickname he would be the first one to hate being over shadowed IMO.
Hmm, 2 trains of thought here : - Jenks should have said who it was, because now everyone is going to speculate wildly about who it was. - He can't say anything because that play(ers) are still on the team and its now water under the bridge. I think the latter is more appropriate, although it would have been nice to put it to rest. I blame Mangini.
Yeah I was waiting for him to blame Mangini, but I think it had a lot to do with him getting hurt and continuing to play.
maybe i missed it, but when has tj ever done or said anything that would be considered selfish? i know he wasn't happy with his contract but he showed up and worked his ass off anyway.

This..... TJ is one of the most respected players by everyone on the team. Any interview that mentions him says how he is a leader in the weight film and study rooms and then on game day. To say he is Hollywood is so beyond retarded, it is just making pure uninformed garbage speculation for the sake of it. Garbage in garbage out.
That whole show was bad ass. When he told Deon and the guys that he didn't care who won the Superbowl because both team beat the Jets I loved it.
this forum is going to love this thread. full of speculation and personal dislike without ever being able to pin down exactly who was being talked about. the only bad guy in this situation is jenkins for speaking about it and not giving the full story. i think it was tony richardson because he used to play for minnesota and they dont like people from green bay. that and he was almost as old as favre and he felt he should be sitting in the rocking chair telling the kids stories! retarded it is just completely retarded.
I met Jenkins a few weeks back and I can tell you this, he's a great guy. Very down to earth, no superiority complex, and always upbeat and happy. This interview is by far the most subdued I've seen him.
