It would be so typical if the Giants got 2 MNF games while the Jets only got one a season after the Giants miss the playoffs and the Jets go to the AFCC.

I didn't want to start a thread, but the local paper had the Hilton's 2011 SB odds in the rag today.

Jets are 40-1 while the Panthers are 12-1 and the Texans 20-1, just to name a few.

That is pretty funny, being that the Jets beat both of those teams this year.

Correct. It's either the Jets or the Pats against the Lions on Thanksgiving. FOX and CBS rotate the Dallas and Detroit games each year. Last year FOX was in Detroit as the Packers visited and CBS was in Dallas as the Raiders visited. Next year it will be CBS in Detroit and FOX in Dallas. That leaves either the Jets or Pats playing in Detroit on Thanksgiving.

A night home opener with the new place lit up green is what I'd like to see.

The last Monday nighter at the Meadowlands was the last one on ABC; the Jets hosted the Patriots on Dec. 26, 2005.

The reason? Mostly logistics related to the new stadium construction which, for example, make it difficult to use satellite parking areas on a weeknight.

Now with the new stadium and more parking available we will see if the Jets or Giants request for a Monday night game this year. In the past they haven't due to the fact there is very little parking and too much traffic during the week.

FOX - Chicago Bears 7 Dallas Cowboys 21
    Nov. 24, 2005 FOX - Atlanta Falcons 27 Detroit Lions 7
CBS - Denver Broncos 24 Dallas Cowboys 21 (OT)
    Nov. 23, 2006 CBS - Miami Dolphins 27 Detroit Lions 10

I am fine with the JETS being put on Thanksgiving against Detroit as long as the NFL doesn`t put the road JET vs. Bears game on Christmas Weekend, us RoadTrippers got screwed the last time we planned to visit Soldier Field when the game was moved to Champange cause of renovation`s going on at Soldier Field

Yeah, I'm thinking about going to the Bears game as long as it's not December. I'm looking at the Browns and Steelers games as well. I thought about the Lions but Detroit isn't very touristy friendly. Only one hotel (the casino) close to the stadium and you really dont want to venture outside of that four block radius.......
