Why would Pennington have any interest to come back? Remember how we just canned him when we got the great Brett Favre? Not exactly the best exit we gave him...

I can see Chad returning to the Jets as Mark's backup. Chad is mature enough to understand that this is a business and the Jets made a decision based strictly on business. It was not meant to be personal.
fyi : mark sanchez might have surgery this offseason to stabilize the patella ligament in his left knee, which was injured during college. he won't need any procedures on his r. knee, which suffered a sprained posterior cruciate ligament earlier this season.
