I don't start many threads on here but today I just had to. I am already awake and its not even 8am here. I am beyond excited at this point. These next 8 hrs are going to be the longest of my life. I can't believe that on 1/24/10 we are still talking about jets football. Today will truly be a day that I will remember for the rest of my life regardless of the outcome. It seems Jets fans that our beloved team has finally "turned the corner". All I can say is enjoy every second of it and hope we have more to celebrate after today. And now i just want to say a few words to the jets management... I want to say thank you for the team that you guys have assembled, it may not be pretty but fuck it, it wouldn't be a jets team if it was. Thank you rex for coming in here and changing the culture of this team so fast. Thanks Tanny for having the insight to bring a guy like rex in. Thanks as well for being able to fleece the browns not once....but twice over, BUT most importantly THANK YOU MANGINA for giving us our qb and wr for a long time to come. That's all am still a little drunk from last night :drunk: can't wait till the game gets here. GO JETS!!!!

This has been the longest day ever! You guys and gals in the US are lucky, I have to get to 9:30pm here.
Even if today doesn't go in our favor, just remember that it's been an epic experience even getting this far in our rookie HC, QB, and RB's first season. Unlike the 1998 team, this is not a mercenary team but rather a rookie team with a long and bright future ahead of it. We have many many years of watching "winning Jets football" ahead of us. I'm on an adrenaline high already... I was 9 years old, going on 10 the last time the Jets were in a game of this magnitude. I'm so fucking psyched. I feel like I can run through a brick wall.
