Sorry if this had been already posted somewhere else but I just got done watching this and it's the most beautiful Sound FX I've watched for a long time. http://www.nfl.com/videos/new-york-jets/09000d5d815e24c9/Sound-FX-Jets-vs-Chargers To those that may have missed it. EDIT: Just realized there was another thread with this link. Mods please merge.
I just posted this in another thread but this is awesome. Listen to what Marques Douglas says to a Charger after Nate misses that 3rd FG. Simply amazing.
hahaha yeah I was just watchin this...this is great...shaun phillips runnin his mouth all game tryin to convince himself their gonna win
There were so many awesome quotes but this is my favorite. "One thing about this game, be true to ourselves. We're gonna be the only team.. the road team that wins this week." - Rex Ryan (Before Kickoff)
LMAO Norv Turner: he missed it. Marques Douglas: he missed it!!! Rex Ryan: HE MISSED IT!!! HE MISSED IT!!!!! YEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!! YEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!! Marques Douglas: Oh man y'all gotta get ridda'him. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
"That's New york Jet's football, that's new york jet's football" oh man watching that makes me want to go out and get into a fight. Let's go boys!!!!
''Hey wrap up...23 in the game...wrap up 23 in the game'' Shaun Phillips once Shonn Greene is inserted in the game just prior to him running over Weddle on his way to the end zone...says alot about Greene's bruising style...
I love sequence prior to the last run for the first down by TJ, where Shaun Phillips (#95 San Diego) is taunting Dirty, "Y'all know what happens if y'all give Philip the ball back, Mark."
i didnt see the other thread, and this vid was great, so thanks for the repost why they didnt use any of marks remarks throughout the game??
"The kid was poised" - Rex after the TD throw to Keller. The folks at Deadspin are going to love that line. The other neat thing about the replay of that play from the opposite end zone is you can see how tight Keller is covered, but you also can almost see the non-verbal communication between Dirty and Keller as if Dirty is rolling, rolling, rolling, anticipating that Keller will pull back from the LB covering him to get free. As soon as he sees Keller start to move back and get open, Dirty fires the ball. Great stuff.
God I love seeing my Jets play with confidence, pride, and excitement. Can't remember seeing that in them anytime before in my lifetime.
