wow, I can feel the big mo building with Jets fans. I have a question too I've never been to Lucas Oil Stadium and lot of 600 level tickets are advertised as obstructed view. Does that mean the players are like ants or does that mean there are blind corners. I'm taking my son and he would be devasted to miss Sanchez's game winning TD pass in the 4th Qtr. JimJet84
all kidding aside, we are looking to tailgate by the bean factory and have some fun but back to my question about 600 level seats. What sections have blind spots and which sections should be avoided because there are Indy fan clubs etc. present. JimJet84:beer:
there is only 1 section with obstructed view upper level seats are fine and i suspect many jets fans will be there. i got tix in 626
If you sit on the Colts side in the very top rows they are slightly obstructed because the press box is literally right above your head. What I have been told is that you can see just about everything except the video board and how high a punt goes but don't quote me on that because I have never been all the way to the top.
Is there any public trans (i.e. shuttle bus, metro rail, etc...) from the airport to the stadium? It looks really close on the map but I'm thinking that could be deceiving with game traffic? I'd have to catch an 8PM flight out so if the game is done at 6:30ish I wonder if I would make it to the gate on time?
It depends on where you would park. Obviously the farther into downtown you go the longer it takes to get out of the lot. But from where I park, a few blocks from the stadium, you could literally make it to the airport in 20 minutes at the most. Indy traffic is not that bad even on a game day.
you would stay for the presentation of the afc trophy?????? the game wont be over till 7ish then the trophy id say at least 8pm exit of the stadium
Dammit I forgot about that!!! That's it, I just need to take Monday off. No way I would leave early and miss that.
Just got my tix. Dealt with a decent guy in Indy who sold me 3 for 150.00 each in Sec 627.Yippee 40 hrs till we take off for our magical SuperBowl Ride of a wekend. JimJet84
Holy Crap, I just bought those. LOL Not All seriousness, Thanks for the input but tix in 627 look pretty good(for end zone seats that is) Is that picture with the pilons in view real seats? If so, that is messed up. JimJet84
Are Lucas Stadium personel strict about water bottles etc. or are they realistic about bringing in some water and food. Just wondering. Thanks JimJet84
Yeah. It's totally for real. They don't sit anyone there though obviously, aside from Bill Belichick and his entourage.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars. Most are just 2-3 blocks to the north east of the stadium. Circle Center Mall is right there as well. I think you'll like LOS if you haven't been there before. I know it's an anamoly, but it actually appears bigger once you're inside. Section 600's are all upper level. Word of caution....They put in one escalator on the north end of the stadium and it's not wide. There's usually a big crowd trying to get on, so if you don't want to miss the kick off, I wouldn't wait too long to find your seat. IndyGo provides bus service from the airport to downtown. I think it's $7. It won't be more than a 20 minute ride, it's all highway. If you drive, don't worry about traffic. That's one we do have on NYC. The police make all streets near the stadium one way outbound after a game. Glad you guys are staying around for the presentation of the trophy. The Colts will appreciate that when they hand it to Jim Irsay.
