So, hopefully one of these press people will wise up and ask Ryan the question I've been wanting to know the answer to since we beat San Diego.

We've got four players going to the Pro Bowl this year. (Revis, D'Brick, Faneca, and Mangold) What does Ryan plan on doing during the Pro Bowl week with these players? They're obviously gonna have practice, etc. Is it his decision, or the players on whether they sit out? You don't want to risk injury to anybody in an unimportant game, and it might be helpful for the big men to be more rested. I wonder what's going to happen?

*Since the Pro Bowl is now the week before the Super Bowl.

Players on Super Bowl teams will not play in the Pro Bowl.

Theres no way i see the players plaing in the probowl and risk getting injured if they make it to the super bowl.

It's been pretty common knowledge for a while that no players from either Super Bowl team will be participating in the Pro Bowl.

And I thought it was common sense, too. No SB HC would be stupid enough to let them play.

Peyton Manning is going to shred the NFC defense in the Pro Bowl. Go Peyton! Pro Bowl! Woot!

Is this an official rule? Kind of silly considering teams that make it to the Super Bowl are bound to have a few, if not one Pro Bowl player.

One of the points of this thread is to find out whether or not it's actually up to the HC.

...which is why the concept of the Pro Bowl is slowly dying off. Nobody was watching it after the Super Bowl bc the participants were not trying. They seem to think the ratings will increase if it placed between the last game of the div. championships and the Super Bowl.

It would be pretty foolish for a team to allow their players to play in a meaningless game the week before the superbowl.

Speaking of the Pro Bowl, it'll be Norv coaching against Wade in it. Will either team win, since it's in the postseason?

    1-5 (Wade) vs 3-3 (Norv)

I think a Manning led AFC team will beat the NFC

You mean Brent? After all, the Pro Bowl is a kids' game, so he'll fit right in like a gunslinger playing a backyard game in his Wranglers.

NFL Big Wigs are a bunch of Jerks... Why would you schedule the Probowl Before the Superbowl... I know this doesnt have anything to do with it but we have 4 players going that sucks for them if we make the superbowl because though people say its lost the luster some of the guys its there first time playing in it..
